- The gadget needs compatible third-party software or an app to function (some are free and some are paid). Typically, we suggest the Google Play Store apps Car Scanner ELM OBD2, Torque Lite, OBD Fusion, and Inforcar.
- It only functions with Windows and Android mobile devices. Devices running Apple iOS are not supported. If you use an iPhone or iPad, check out our OBDCheck BLE. Additionally NOT advised are Android head units.
- To connect, simply open the app once the Veepeak device is Bluetooth-paired. On some Android phones, it could seem as saved, paired, or previously connected, but it’s truly connected.
