OUTWATER Anaglypta
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANAGLYPTA
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Make sure the walls are clean
- Repair any wall damage before installing
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Anaglypta wall coverings
- Utility knife
- Straightedge razorblade
- Marker
- Long-bristled brush
- Clay-based adhesive
GENERAL APPLICATION FOR WALL COVERINGS
- With a chalk line, snap the wall where the Anaglypta will be installed.
- Let the Anaglypta lay out for a few minutes so that it uncoils nicely.
- Anaglypta may need to be cut at the desired height. Height is normally 32” to 36” up the wall, which is about 1/3 of the wall’s height. It can also be used for wainscoting applications.
- When ready, roll or brush the adhesive evenly onto the back of the wallpaper.
- Fold the edges over each other to join them (bookend).
- Distribute the glue underneath with a long-bristled brush.
- Use a foam roller to put some pressure on the paper. Do not crush it.
- Wipe any excess glue away with a damp sponge.
- Use a chair rail moulding such as our RPS-0298 for a beautiful look.
PAINTING
Use a high quality latex paint. You could use a two-tone style to enhance the
appearance of the wall if needed.
