IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
- Before you begin Read all instructions before setting up. Select a level site clear of rocks, branches, and other hard or sharp objects to install your tent.
- WARNING: Keep clear of overhead power lines.
- Do not set up your tent under trees because of potential lightning strikes or falling tree limbs in inclement weather.
- Secure with all stakes and guy lines provided to prevent property damage or personal injury.
- For best results in windy conditions, position the narrow end of the tent into the wind. Do not drop the tent or pole bag on its end.
- Do not bounce the tent bag on its end to get the tent out, as these actions may damage the frame.
- Although it is possible to pitch this tent alone, it is faster/easier to with two people.
- Under no circumstances should this product be used to cover automobiles, marine products, or similar items.
- Never let tent poles snap together as this can damage the pole end.
- CAUTION: Avoid pinch points when opening and closing the tent frame.
Supplied Parts and Hardware
Step 1
1-1 Unroll and unfold the tent.
1-2 Connect your tent poles.
Step 2
Cross-connect poles to the tent by inserting the corner pins into the tent
poles.
Step 3
Loosely tie the top of the tent with the intersection of the two tent poles.
Step 4
4-1 Clip the G-hook on the tent poles.
4-2 Hammer the four ground stakes into the ground through the rings on the four corners of the tent.
Step 5
5-1 Unroll and unfold the rainfly.
5-2 Insert the end of the fly rod into the web pocket.
Step 6
6-1 Drape the rainfly over the tent making sure the fly rod is centered over
the door. Tie the top of the rainfly with the intersection of the two tent
poles.
NOTE: When positioned properly, seams on the rainfly will always align
with poles on the tent.
6-2 Clip the four hooks on the rain fly to the rings of the four tent corners.
6-3 Clip the
G-hook on the tent poles.
Step 7
7-1 Tie the guy line through the loop on the rainfly.
7-2 Pull the loop out and stick the ground stake through the loop as shown.
7-3 Stretch the
guy lines until taut, then hammer the ground stake into the ground at an angle
of 45-60 degrees.
Step 8 How to
Use Tent Guy Line Tensioners
Hold the front end of the string and pull the guy line tensioners forward
until the tent guy line is taut.
