WARNING: Disconnect power during installation and before servicing.
This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
IMPORTANT: Read all instructions carefully before attempting installation. If you do not understand these instructions, please consult your local distributor. Thoroughly inspect the fixture for any freight damage; freight damage should be reported to the delivery carrier.
INSTALLATION
- Open the fixture by removing the two screws located on the right side of the housing. Then, lift the lens door off the hinges and set it aside for later reinstallation.
- Drill or knock out the appropriate holes for mounting the fixture to the wall. Also, drill holes for securing the fixture to the junction box, using the 3 ¼” or 4” junction box template shown in FIG-1. Apply silicon sealant (not provided) to any holes to prevent water entry.
- Secure the back of the fixture to the wall using two or more screws and to the junction box with screws. Ground the fixture by connecting the green fixture ground wire to the junction box ground wire. Then, connect the white fixture wire to the white supply wire (neutral) and the black fixture wire to the black supply wire (line).
- Replace the lens door back onto the hinges of the fixture. Connect the driver and LED assembly via the luminaire plug shown in FIG- 2. Close the door and reinstall the two screws on the right side of the fixture.
- Remove the plugs from the weep holes located on the bottom left and right side shown in FIG-3 of the lens door to allow water to escape the fixture.
SAFETY
This fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances. All work should be performed by a qualified electrician. To insure personal safety, proper grounding is required (connect green fixture lead to supply ground).
Wattage Adjusting Instructions
For wattage selectable models, there is an adjustable output unit (shown on the right) inside of the fixture on the left that is attached to the dimming leads that can be used to adjust the wattage of the fixture. Using a flat blade screwdriver turn the dial of the adjustable output unit to the desired output level. Position #8 corresponds to no dimming. The chart below shows the estimated input wattage at each position as a percentage of the maximum input wattage.
AOU Position | Input Wattage | AOU Position | Input Wattage |
---|---|---|---|
#8 | 100% | #4 | 60% |
#7 | 90% | #3 | 50% |
#6 | 80% | #2 | 40% |
#5 | 70% | #1 | 30% |
CCT Selecting Instructions
For color-selectable models, there is a switch (shown on the right) attached to the back of the LED assembly. To change the CCT of the fixture, (with supply voltage turned off) simply slide the switch to the desired color. 5000K is the coolest setting, while 3000K is the warmest setting.
