WARNING
Please read the instructions carefully before attempting to install fixture and
retain instructions for future reference.
Caution: To avoid electrical shock hazards
- Turn off the electricity before installing or servicing the fixture.
- Electrical connections need to comply with National Electric Code and Local Electric Code.
- The fixture should be installed by a qualified electrician.
APPLICATION/USE
This product is rated for use in wet locations and designed for surface
mounting only. It is best to mount the fixture to a weatherproof electrical of
electrical box that already exists in the mounting location, you may need to
purchase additional equipment for installation.
INSTALLATION
Thread the floodlight mounting arm into the ½” opening of the cover and secure it with ½” locknut (see “Fixture Wiring”)
FIXTURE WIRING
- Connect the black fixture lead to the voltage supply lead with a wire connector.
- Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral supply lead with the wire connector.
- Connect the green or green/yellow or bare copper ground lead to the supply ground lead with the wire connector.
- Cap and insulate all unused leads.
TO AIM FIXTURE
- Loosen the side bolt connected to the arm knuckle to aim the fixture up or down. Re-tighten the bolt to secure the fixture in the desired position.
- For a rain-tight seal, caulk the aiming arm joint, top, and sides of the canopy with silicone caulking compound.
For Wall mount, Ground mounting, or ceiling mount applications: Seal the wire entrance with silicon sealant (not provided) so that moisture/water cannot enter the fixture via the wire way (chase nipple).
WATER ENTRY THROUGH THE WIRE WAY VOIDS THE WARRANTY.
