A low-voltage device (e.g. smartphone) can be supplied with power or charged via this connection socket using a suitable USB connection cable*.

ASSEMBLING

MOUNT DIFFUSER ATTACHMENT
Note: The diffuser attachment provides softer light and mimics both the lightshadow contrast as well as distracting reflections.

  1. Place the diffuser attachment on the LED panel of the video light with the side lugs first and press lightly until the attachment is firmly seated on the light.
  2. Push the lugs of the diffuser attachment slightly outward and pull the attachment off the light.

MOUNTING LED VIDEO LIGHT ON/TO ACCESSORY PARTS
Note: The LED video light is equipped with a 1/4″ mounting thread that allows mounting on numerous accessories with a corresponding 1/4″ threaded screw (e.g. photo tripod, ball/articulated head, adaptor). The accessories included in the scope of delivery are already equipped with such a threaded screw.

  1. Screw the LED video light with the 1/4″ mounting thread onto the 1/4″ threaded screw of the desired accessory.

MOUNTING LED VIDEO LIGHT TO SMARTPHONE ADAPTER
The smartphone adapter can be secured to the bottom of the LED lamp with the 1/4” screw. Together they can then be mounted on the table tripod. When folded, the table tripod becomes a handle (see Fig. 3).

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Only clean the outside of the LED video light with a dry cloth to avoid damage to the electronics.
Remove dust and lint in connection sockets and/or gaps with bellows or by means of an air pressure gun.
Carefully wipe off heavier soiling on the LED panel or the diffuser attachment with a slightly moistened soft cloth.

STORAGE

Store the LED video light in the carrying bag provided.
Store them at normal room temperature in a dry and dust-free place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Why does the battery only has a low capacity?

  • Make sure the battery is fully loaded when using the video light.
  • To ensure a long battery life, do not operate the LED video light to maximum brightness when it is not needed.
  • The 9W version (Art. No. F004352) features a power bank function. Using this function will shorten the battery life.
