Statement of Use
- For professional use only.
- This product and its accessories must not be modified in any way.
- Do not use this product if it has been damaged.
- If the product data or hazard warning signs on the prod-uct cease to be legible or become detached, replace with-out delay.
- The product must only be installed, operated and ser-viced by qualified personnel in an industrial environ-ment.
Intended Use
This product is intended to be used as an air filter / regulator / lubricator (in combination or separate, as indicated in the manual). No other use is permitted. For professional use only.
Product Specific Instructions
General Installation Safety
- Air lines must be cleaned before connected to the unit. Dirt particles can cause serious malfunctions.
- Whipping hoses can cause severe injury. A shut-off valve must be sited immediately upstream of the hose reel and be easily accessible.
- If liquid, paste or fibrous materials are used for sealing the connections, these must be carefully prevented from getting into the unit. These materials can cause serious malfunctions.

Wrong installation and flow direction are potentially hazardous.
- Install filters, regulators, and lubricators in vertical position only.
- Adhere to the flow direction marked on each mod-ule.
General Operation Safety

The system is operating under pressure. Incorrect instal-lation could damage the unit and cause serious injury.
- Before start-up, check that all connections, ports, and modules have been correctly installed.

If no filling unit is used, the system will suddenly be un-der pressure during
start-up, causing dangerous and sud-den cylinder movements.
- When starting up a system without a filling unit, make sure that the cylinders are in their end posi-tion. For cylinders not in end position, make sure they do not present any danger.

Harmful oil mists are produced in the compressed air systems.
- Lubricators must be operated in closed pneumatic systems only.
- Shut off air supply, drain hose of air pressure and dis-connect hose reel from air supply when not in use.
General Maintenance and Service Safety
- In the event of malfunction, please contact the customer service responsible.
- Release pressure before disconnecting the hose.
- Daily check for damaged or loose hoses and fittings and rectify immediately. Damaged hoses or fittings must be replaced.
- Protect the hose from contact with sharp edges, flames, hot parts and solvents.
- Dispose of used filter elements in compliance with na-tional regulations.

- Ensure that the system is pressure free before open-ing the filter reservoir.

serious injury.
- Make sure the system is no longer under pressure before opening the oil reservoir.
Safety instructions
- Shut off air supply and depressurize system before in-stalling unit.
- Only operate within the stated ranges of safe operating temperatures and pressures. Before installation, compare the technical data with the actual operating conditions.
- The pneumatic system in which the unit is used must comply with ISO 4414, “Pneumatic fluid power – Gen-eral rules and safety requirements for systems and their components.”
- Ensure the unit is correctly installed for the direction of air flow as indicated by the arrow symbol on the unit.
- Contact with solvents and other chemicals can cause chemical attack and subsequent burst.
- The unit must not come into contact with acetone, ben-zol, brake fluid, glycerine, some synthetic oil, chloro-form, carbon tetrachloride (and similar solvents), carbon disulphide, methyl alcohol, perchloroethylene, toluene, trichloroethylene, xylene (nitrocellulose, thinner), acetic acid.
- The bowl and other plastic parts must only be cleaned with warm water and normal washing-up liquid.
- This unit must not be modified.
