The 99 Classics headphones are symmetrical.
So Left and Right is determined by the Lor R marked cable that you are using.
Also: the L (left) cable jack has a small tactile ridge to help you identify the left side of cable I headphones without looking.

You tend to crank up the volume to compensate for the noise around you. But our earpads offer a good passive isolation which should allow you to listen to your headphones comfortably even in louder environments such as inside an airplane or subway.

WARRANTY: Meze headphones guarantees their products against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase from a Meze headphones authorized dealer. Meze headphones will repair or replace the product or parts at no charge. After one (1) year, you are responsible for the repair, replacement part or replacement. This warranty does not cover other related costs.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, acts of god, normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, commercial use, any modifications to the product, improper use or improper connection. Additionally it doesn’t cover purchase from an unauthorized dealer, attempted repair by anyone other than Meze headphones or other authorized person or unit. This warranty does not cover products sold by unauthorized resellers, products sold as-is, open box, second hand, display models, or any other times in which the product may have been opened or used. This warranty is also void if the product was damaged by a product that it was used with such as battery leak or electrical fault of a connecting product. In order for warranty to apply a proof of purchase is required. A proof of purchase may be in the form of a receipt, bill of sale, transaction code with the model of the product and the date of purchase listed from an authorized dealer.
Meze headphones is not responsible for replacement or repair of products if in violation of this warranty. Some countries may have other restrictions on warranties.
RETURNS: In the event that you need warranty service on your earphones, earbuds or headphones or you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact the Meze authorized dealer you made the purchase from or Meze headphones through the contact form on the website in case you purchased the item on the Meze headphones website. We are not responsible for items returned without previously contacting Meze headphones.

REFUND POLICY: Products purchased from our website can be returned within 30 days of purchase date. The package must be unopened and without any visible damage. To be eligible for a refund from Meze headphones the product must have been purchased directly from Meze headphones. If your product was purchased from other retailers you must contact that specific retailer. Refunds will be subject to a 15-20% restocking fee. The customer is also responsible to pay for shipping to return the merchandise.
If the product you received is defective from Meze headphones or when purchased through any other authorized dealer; you may request an exchange under our warranty policy. Besides all the above, Meze headphones wishes for all customers to be happy with their purchase and will do its best to make that happen.

Thank you for purchasing the CAN Signature from ZEN series. The CAN Signature MZ99 is a balanced headphone amplifier optimized for Meze headphones.

1. Power switch

2. Input channel switch
   Input 1: RCA
   Input 2: Single-ended 3.5mm
   Input 3: Balanced 4.4mm

3. PowerMatch selection: OdB/6dB/12dB/18dB
   We recommend starting from 0dB and then increasing the switchable gain level to attain an enjoyable and comfortable level of volume from the headphones.
   Warning: at the outset do not use excessive gain, otherwise damage to hearing or connected headphones may ensue. AMR/iFi audio is not responsible for any damage/injury from misuse.

4. Analogue Volume Control
   At normal listening levels, the volume control should be around the 12 o’clock position. Increase the gain level to enjoy a higher listening level.

5. Single-ended 6.3mm output
   For connecting single-ended 6.3mm headphones With single-ended 3.5mm headphones connect with a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter.

6. Balanced 4.4mm analogue output
   For connecting balanced 4.4mm headphones.
   Tip: As the Meze headphones use balanced design, we recommend the 4.4mm balanced output.

7. MZ99 LED
   Headphone corrections optimized for Meze headphones.

8. XSpace Matrix LED
   The XSpace Matrix(on/off) recreates a holographic sound field. It is a pure analogue signal processing circuit designed for listening to headphones as if one was listening to speakers. This addresses the ‘music inside the head’ sensation, which makes for unsettling listening. Tip: Sonically-hindering DSP is NOT used for Meze headphones nor XSpace Matrix systems. They use the highest-quality discrete components and operate purely in the analogue domain. Hence all the clarity and resolution of the original musk is retained

10. Balanced 4.4mm analogue input
    This is a balanced analogue input.

11. Single-ended 3.5mm analogue input
    For connecting single-ended 3.5mm input.

12. RCA analogue input
    This is an analogue input.

13. Balanced 4.4mm analogue output
    This is an analogue output via 4.4mm > XLR or other balanced interconnects. You could use this for an active speaker.
    Tip: As the ZEN CAN Signature MZ99 is balanced, this is the recommended output.

14. DC 5V power
    Please connect the ZEN CAN Signature MZ99 to the enclosed power supply, the super-silent iPower2.The ZEN CAN Signature MZ99 must ONLY be powered by 5 volts.
