Introduction

SMART SWITCH INSTALLATION
NOTE: A neutral wire is required for installation.
- Turn off power at your breaker
- Identify the wires
REMOVE THE EXISTING SWITCH:
- it may be helpful to take a photo of how the old switch was wired
WIRE THE SMART SWITCH
- Connect the smart switch white NEUTRAL wire to the neutral wire(s) in the box (there may be several). Twist and cap them off with the red wire nut.
- Connect the smart switch LOAD wire on the load wire in the box.
- Connect the smart switch HOT wire to the hot wire(s) in the box.
- Connect the smart switch green GROUND wire to the ground wire(s] in the box.
- Cap the yellow traveler wire with a wire nut. If more than one switch controls the light, then conned the smart switch yellow TRAVELER wire to the wire going to the other switch.
NOTE: The smart switch will work with existing 3-way switches and can be installed in either location.
TEST THE SMART SWITCH
DOWNLOAD THE LEGRAND SMART LIGHTS APP
- Login or Create a Legrand account to enable control from your phone.
- Click add a device and scan the barcode on the front of the device to connect the device to the app.

Does it pair with the Ring app?****
No, this switch does not pair with ring.
Does the rocker switch actually move into the up and down position or does it stay centered and just trigger buttons when clicked up or down?****
It stays centered. It is a momentary push on or off, and doesn’t even matter whether you push on the top or bottom of the switch. If the light is off, pushing either the top or bottom of the switch will turn the light on. And if the light is on, again pushing either the top or bottom of the switch will turn it off.
can I buy a pair of those and to do a 3-way switch control for the lamp wirelessly?****
To use in a 3-way wiring situation you would pair this smart switch with a regular 3-way switch.
does it work whit android smart phone?****
Yes, there is a Legrand app for android that will allow you to control and add lights. This switch does not require a smart hub, the controller is in the cloud and it will not work with the app if internet connectivity is lost to the switch.
Will this work with an iPhone Legrand app since there is no homekit functionality?****
