7090-M Medium Base Incandescent Lamp Holder
WARNING : Improper wiring of this electrical device can cause serious
injury or death. This device should be installed only by an electrician or
other qualified person.
To install:

Unplug lamp. Loosen set screw, remove old socket. Check insulation on wire. Slip wire through new cap and fasten cap to nipple. Nipple should not extend beyond thread into cap.
Tighten set screw. -
Use #18 or #16 gauge wire. Tie Underwriters knot in wire and pull back through cap until stopped by knot. Strip conductor to 3/4″ and twist copper. Attach white conductor or conductor with identifying rib to silver-colored screw, other conductor to brass screw. Wrap wire clockwise under screw head and tighten securely. No loose strands.

Position interior on cap. Slide paper liner and shell over interior and snap securely into cap.
