After the first putting into operation, set the maximum temperature and let an „open“ grill in operation with a window open for about 10 minutes, then turn it off and let it cool down. After the appliance cools down, swipe the parts that come in contact with food with a soft, wet and clean cloth or a paper towel.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CONTROL
When the power supply A6 gets connected to the mains, you hear a beep and
‘OFF’ flashes on the display. The grill is now in standby mode.
on / off switch A7 – When pressed in standby mode, the grill gets activated
and begins to heat the grill plates to the pre-set 200 °C. At the same time,
the display indicates the time (default: 00 M)
Control panel with display – button to increase temperature / set time B1 –
press / hold to increase temperature or time.
button to decrease temperature / set time B2 – press / hold to reduce
temperature or time.

Grilling temperature B15 – shows the set temperature within the range of 80 –
240 °C.
If a pre-set programme is active, the temperature setting range is limited to
the given ingredient. If the set temperature flashes, the grill is heating up
to the given temperature. As soon as the grill reaches the set temperature,
you hear a beep and the temperature value remains on.
time setting button B4 – press to activate the time setting option – the time
B14 (set to 30 M) starts flashing. Use buttons B1 and B2 to change it within 3
seconds. The confirmation of the set time is signalled by a beep and a steady
light of the given value. Grilling time B14 – displays time of grilling within
the range of 0 – 60 M (minutes). After the set time has elapsed, you hear a
beep. However, the grill will continue to be hot.
temperature probe button B11 – press to activate the temperature monitoring of
cooked ingredients by a temperature probe.
The display shows ‘probe temp’ indicating this function is active. Press again
to turn it off.

soon as all indicator fields light up, the set temperature has been reached
and is displayed at position B13.
Set probe temperature B13 – displays the pre-set temperature that can be
measured inside ingredients by a temperature probe (45-75 °C)
Notice
If you want to reduce the temperature of the heated grill, switch off the grill, open it to a 90-degree angle and wait for the plates to cool down. Then turn it back on and set the required temperature (lower than the one set and reached initially).
Pre-set programmes
Pre-set programmes allow faster preparation of the selected ingredient. Each programme is activated at a pre-set temperature and can only be set at a limited temperature interval. You can set the time manually according to your needs.
Recommendation
- Temperature ranges are for reference only. In practice, it always depends on the type, condition, size and quality of the given ingredient, as well as your preference, or the way you use the grill (set height between plates, opening / closing the grill, whether you wish to grill slowly, etc.). If you have different tried-and-tested temperatures for a given ingredient, use your own settings. You can also be inspired by the times and temperatures in cookbooks or advice available on the internet.
- The same applies to the grilling time which also depends on many factors. Mostly, however, it is around 5-10 minutes. Set it up according to your individual needs. At the same time, it is advisable to visually inspect the grilled dish and to adjust the time to the actual cooking time.
Slider for setting the height between the grill plates (A4)
The height can be set in 5 steps indicated by marks:
“OPEN” position – unlocked (height of the plates can be adjusted)
“LOCK” position – locked (the plates can be locked only in the closed
position)
“5” position – the highest level
Note
– Use the grill in a closed position (without adjusting the height) only for ingredients that will not be deformed by the weight of the top plate. If you are preparing fragile ingredients or only a small amount of ingredients, it is recommended to set the height to at least level 1.
Lid locking button at about 90° / 180° (A3)
When opening the grill, follow the procedure indicated in Fig. 3. The grill in a closed position ensures faster preparation as both grilling plates heat the ingredient simultaneously. If opened up to a 180-degree angle, you are doubling the size of the grill area.
Food preparation method:
- Connect the grill to the mains and switch it on using the A7 switch.
- Select the programme or set the required temperature directly (if the default value of 200 °C does not suit you).
- Pre-heat the grill plates without food for a while.
- When the desired temperature grill has been reached (beep is heard and B15 is on), place the food on the grill plate (preferably in the middle) and set the grilling time if necessary (or grill with the default time ‘0 M’). The plates can be pressed lightly together using the A2 handle or locked in the desired height using the A4 slider. The grill can also be used open (fig. 3).
- When you finish grilling, take out the food using wooden or plastic turners.
- Switch off the grill and unplug it from the mains.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Before each use, make sure that the drip tray A5 is positioned properly.
- During grilling, do not touch the metal parts of the grill or grill plates, nor the temperature probes because these parts are HOT! Especially make sure that children do not come in contact with these parts!
- Use fresh or defrosted food only (not frosted food).
- Do not use metal pliers, turners, a knife or other sharp metal kitchenware, it could damage the non-stick surface finish of the grilling plates.
Temperature probe
The grill allows the use of the temperature probe C to control the internal temperature of the food being prepared. The probe can measure pre-set (recommended) values of 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 75 °C. This is ensured by 6 indicators / fields in the B12 area. When all 6 fields are displayed, the monitored temperature B13 is reached. 28 GB.

- The pre-set temperature B13 starts flashing immediately after activation. You can change it within 3 seconds using the B1 / B2 button – when the temperature is set, you hear a beep. If you need to change the temperature during grilling, you have to turn the function off by pressing the B11 button again and then turn it on
- Insert the probe into the grilled ingredient which is best located near the edge of the grill plate. Ideally, insert its entire length into the centre of the ingredient. If it is smaller in size, insert the tip into it and mainly its front part as far as possible, where the temperature sensor is Do not overheat the probe by touching the hot grill plate!
During the heating process, the indicators in the B12 area gradually light up. When the monitored temperature is reached, all 6 indicators are displayed and you hear a beep. However, the grill continues to heat up.
Note
If the probe connector is pulled out while the function is active (or it is
not connected at the time of activation), an intermittent beep will be heard
and the Er3 error message will
be displayed. To cancel this, reconnect the connector or deactivate the probe
function.
Automatic shutdown
The grill features an auto-off function after 1 hour of inactivity. After the given time, the grill switches itself off to standby mode due to safety reasons (you hear an intermittent signal). If you plan to grill longer, press any button during this time.
ERROR MESSAGES
Er1 – the top grill plate incorrectly inserted; check its position
Er2 – the bottom (grill base) grill plate incorrectly inserted; check its
position
Er3 – the probe connector is not connected correctly, check that the
connection is correct Er4 – switch off the grill and disconnect it from the
mains. Allow it to cool down completely,
making sure that the grill plates are positioned correctly and reconnect the
grill and turn it on.

MAINTENANCE
Clean the grill only after it has cooled down! Clean the appliance
regularly after every use by wiping with a wet soft cloth. Do not use rough
and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, caustic agents for cleaning
ovens etc. ).Do not use any pressure-cleaning appliance (e. g. dishwasher,
WAP, steam cleaners)! Remove possible residues of fat and food that got stuck
on the plates, using a common, plastic kitchen turner. For easier cleaning,
you can remove the plates from the grill shell as shown in fig. 4 (do not wash
them in the dishwasher); the plates can be washed in hot water with
detergent and then left to dry completely. Wipe the top and bottom part of the
grill (located under the grill plates) with a damp cloth and allow them to dry
properly. Remove the drip tray A5 as per Fig. 1, wash it in hot water with
detergent and wipe it dry ( you can use a dishwasher ). If the power
cord with probe is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth. It is normal that the
surface colour changes over the time. But the change does not alter the
surface properties in any way and the appliance is not subject to a complaint
for this reason!
Storage
Make sure that the plates are cool before storage. Store the grill at a safe
and dry place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people. You can
store the power cord in the space at the bottom of the grill.
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the
inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by professional service!
Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to
expiration of the right to warranty.
VI. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
