COOKING STEPS

Before starting, turn the appliance on for a few minutes at the desired temp. to get the units internal temp up. (For first time use, run the unit at max temp for 10min to remove the new element odors etc.) After a few minutes place the food into the basket and slide back into the unit. Set the timer and temp to start the cooking. When you hear the timer sound, the cooking is complete. Slide the container out and check if the food is ready. To remove food, slide out the container and place on a surface that can sustain a temperature of 200°C! After cooking try not to tip the basket completely upside down when emptying out the basket as oil could be lying at the bottom of the basket and could drip on the foods. Always be careful of hot steam when you remove the container from the unit.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Add 3 minutes to the preparation time when you start frying while the Air fryer is still cold. Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients. Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the end result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients. Add some sun-flour oil or olive oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the Hot-air fryer as the fat splatter will cause the element to cause some sm oke. Place a baking tin or oven dish in the Hot-air fryer basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry fragile ingredients or filled ingredients.
