• Read this manual carefully.
• This product may only be used under adult supervision and in the manner described here.
• This product is intended for household use only. This appliance is not intended for use
  • in kitchens for employees in shops,
  • offices and other commercial areas,
  • on farms,
  • by guests in hotels, motels and other similar resi dential environments as well as in bed and breakfasts.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Only use the enclosed adapter and cable. They are designed for continuous use with the snoozi-bottle.

• When the snoozi-station is not in use, the adapter must be re-moved from the socket.

• If the cable is damaged, it must not be used under
  any circumstances.

• Damage to tooth structure can also occur in young children, even if unsweetened liquids are offered. Damage occurs when infants are left with the bottle for long periods of time, especially at night, when salivation is reduced or when the drinking vessel is used as a pacifier.

• Always hold the baby during feeding. Otherwise, it could choke.

• After use, the surface of the heating element still has residual heat.

• Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are aged eight years and above and supervised.

• Children must not play with the appliance. It is not a toy.

• This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and know-ledge if they have been given supervision or instruction con-cerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

FOR YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY AND HEALTH

WARNING

• Always use this product with adult supervision.
• Never use feeding teats as a soother.
• Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay.
• Always check food temperature before feeding.
• Keep components not in use out of the reach of children. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
• Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing. The child can be strangled.
• Check the snoozi-bottle carefully before each use.
• Only use boiled water, otherwise bacteria in the water could make your baby ill.
• Never keep premixed milk warm for more than 30 minutes.
• Never store milk residues.
• Keep water warm in the bottle for a maximum of 10 hours. Never heat the bottle in the microwave.
• Important: For premature babies,the immuno-compromised or children under 2 months of age,consult your family doctor before use.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Take the snoozi-bottle apart entirely and check the individual parts for damage and to ensure they are complete. Then clean the parts 1-7 thoroughly.
• Put the teat (2) in boiling water for 5 minutes, to ensure hygienic conditions.
• Connect the snoozi-station (8) to the power adapter (10) using the enclosed cable (9). Position the snoozi-station so that it is easily accessible, for example, on the bedside table, and plug the power adapter into the socket.

HOW TO CLEAN THE SNOOZI-BOTTLE

• First, disassemble the snoozi-bottle entirely. Then, thoroughly clean the individual parts in hot water using a mild dish deter-gent. Afterwards, briefly rinse with cold water to remove any detergent residues.
• The parts of the snoozi-bottle (parts 1-7) can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• Once a week, the snoozi-bottle parts (1-7) should be sterilised or put in boiling water.
• Important: Never clean or boil out the snoozi-station (8) in the dishwasher, steriliser or microwave!

NOTES ON THE TEAT

• Before each use, check the teat (2) and pull it in all directions. Do not use at the first sign of damage or weakness.
• Do not expose the teat to direct sunlight or heat or leave it in dis-infectants (sterilising solution) for longer than the specified time, as this may damage the teat.
• Do not enlarge the teat opening with a needle or other sharp object.
• The teat should be cleaned before each use. If the teat becomes cracked, brittle or shows other signs of wear, do not continue to use it. For hygiene reasons, the teat should be replaced every three weeks.
• snoozi is compatible with Philips Avent Natural® teats.

THE SNOOZI TEMPERATURE LIGHT

Optimal drinking temperature
If the bottom of the snoozi-station is glowing green, the water is at the perfect temperature of about 37 °C (like breast milk).
Important: Check the temperature briefly before feeding anyway, e.g. on the wrist.

Too cold
If the bottom of the snoozi-station is glowing yellow, the water is still below the optimum temperature of 37 °C.

Notice: It takes about an hour to heat water from room temperature (20 °C) to the optimal drinking temperature (37 °C).

Too hot
If the bottom of the snoozi-station glows red, the water is too hot for feeding.

Caution: There is a risk of scalding!
It takes about two hours for boiling water to cool down to 37 °C.

No temperature measurement yet
If the base of the snoozi-station flashes yellow, the water temperature could not yet be measured.

The snoozi-station will switch on automatical- ly as soon as you put the snoozi-bottle in it. However, it takes a few seconds before the water temperature in the snoozi-bottle can be measured. During this time, the base will slowly flash yellow. This shows you that the snoozi-station is working as intended.

Temperature sensor malfunction
If the temperature sensor is malfunctioning, the snoozi- station will glow red continuously for a period of at least 3 hours. In this case, please contact our Support team.

PREPARING THE SNOOZI-BOTTLE

1. Pour boiling or boiled water into the snoozi-bottle.
   First, screw the bottle body (6) to the base (7). Then, pour the desired amount of water into the snoozi-bottle. It fits up to 240 ml.
   Important: The water must either be hotter than 70 °C or already boiled to ensure sterility.

2. Seal the Easy-Mix® container from the bottom using the Easy-Mix® opener and pour in the milk powder.
   The maximum filling quantity is around 7 measuring spoons (if you lightly tap the Easy-Mix® container on a firm surface, you will fit a bit more than 7 measuring spoons in).
   Important: The Easy-Mix® opener must be inserted exactly, and the Easy- Mix® container must be completely dry. Otherwise, the milk powder can clump together.
   Tip: Simply place the Easy-Mix® opener on a flat surface, put the Easy- Mix® container over it and press down on this firmly.
   Tip: When filling, hold the closed Easy-Mix® con tainer in your hand at a slight angle. Turn it in the process so that the Easy-Mix® opener does not interfere.

3. Insert the Easy-Mix® container into the snoozi-bottle and close the bottle.
   Pull the teat (2) into the teat collar (3) from be-low. Then screw the teat collar tightly onto the bottle body (6).

4. Connect the snoozi-station and place the snoozi-bottle inside it.
   Connect the snoozi-station (8) to the supplied power adapter (10) using the cable (9) and plug the power adapter into the socket. Place the snoozi-station within easy reach (for example on the bedside table).
   Important: Only use the supplied power adapter and cable.

   • Now place the snoozi-bottle in the snoozi-station. The snoozi-station will automatically switch on, and the base of the snoozi-station will start to light up.
   • The snoozi-station will now automatically ensure that the optimal drinking temperature of 37 °C is reached.
   • The snoozi-bottle is now ready for the night!

USE ON THE GO
The snoozi-bottle and station is intended for household use but can also be used on the go. It is best to use a power bank for this. This must have an amperage of at least 1.5 A and at most 3 A.

• Make sure that the snoozi-station is placed on a firm surface and is upright.
• Never use the snoozi-bottle while driving!

HOW TO PREPARE IT AT NIGHT

1. Has the snoozi-station lit up green?
   If your baby gets hungry at night, first check whether the base of the snoozi- station is lit up green. It does so when the water is at the optimal temperature of 37 °C.
   Attention: If the base of the snoozi-station lights up red, there is a risk of scalding!

2. If so, push the opener down.
   Now pick up the snoozi-bottle with one hand. It is best to hold the bottle by the teat collar (3) using your thumb, ring finger and little finger.
   Place your index and middle fingers to the left and right next to the tip of the teat (2). This will allow you to feel the opener through the teat, no matter where it is.
   Now open the Easy-Mix® container by firmly pressing on the opener. The opener should noticeably give way.
   Tip: If the bottle is standing on a solid surface, e.g., the bedside table, this makes it easier to press the Easy-Mix® opener down.

3. Shake – and you’re ready!
   Now press your middle and index fingers against one another to close the tip of the teat (alternatively, you can put the lid on or hold the teat tip shut with your index finger).
   Now shake the bottle briefly – and you’re ready!
   Tip: Shake the bottle by simply twisting your wrist sideways (not shaking your whole forearm up and down). This results in fewer air bubbles forming in the milk.

Important: Check the temperature briefly before feeding anyway, e.g. on the wrist.
Important: Unmixed water and milk powder should remain in the snoozi- bottle for a maximum of 10 hours and then be re-placed. Never store premixed milk for more than 30 minutes.

WARRANTY

The legal warranty refers to the snoozi good-night-bottle (re-ferred to as “the product” below), manufactured and distributed by Snoozi GmbH, Roonstraße 29, 50674 Cologne, Germany
(referred to as “Snoozi GmbH” below).

The warranty is 2 years long and begins with the date of delivery. To make a claim under the warranty, the invoice and defec tive product must be sent to the following address: Snoozi GmbH, c/o headquarters, Neue Weyerstrasse 2, 50676 Cologne, Germany.

If you purchased the product online, you have 30 days to cancel the purchase and return the product. You do not have to give a reason for the return, but you must inform Snoozi GmbH of the return (either on the website www.snoozi.com or by sending an email to info@snoozi.com). The costs for the return shipment must be borne by you as the buyer. As soon as the product arrives at the above address, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price. Snoozi GmbH shall inform you in advance that you have to bear the costs of the return shipment.

The product has the characteristics described in the advertising and manual and will function as specified, provided the instruc-tions in the manual are followed. If the product does not function as described, deviates from the illustrations or descriptions, is not suitable for the advertised application or does not corre-spond to the quality expected of comparable products, Snoozi GmbH undertakes to repair or replace the product free of charge. The warranty period shall then be extended by the duration of the repair or replacement.

The warranty does not apply in cases of force majeure (lightning, fire, water, etc.), accidents, improper handling (e.g. cleaning the snoozi-station in a dishwasher or microwave), non-compliance with the instructions for use, safety and care instructions or due to improper and unauthorised modification of the product.

Traces of daily use (scratches etc.) are not part of the warranty. The warranty does not affect your rights as a buyer under EU consumer protection laws arising from Snoozi GmbH’s product liability. Repairs carried out after the end of the warranty must be paid for by prior arrangement.

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS

• The snoozi-station and power adapter must not be disposed of with household waste.
• The snoozi-station and power adapter is labelled in accordance with European Union Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment. The directive provides the framework for an EU-wide recall and recovery of waste equipment.
• To return your old appliance, please use the return and collec-tion systems available to you. You can return both the adapter and the snoozi-bottle to Snoozi GmbH or your dealer after use.
