  3. Warning: pick up the hood only at the frontside to prevent glass damage of the hood.

  4. Check that all the hob parts are present in the packaging.

  5. Built-in height G≥ 760mm surface mounting: Make cut-out in bottom plate cabinet

  6. Built-in height G≥ 760mm flushing mounting: Make cut-out in bottom plate cabinet

  7. Built-in height G < 760mm

  8. When the height cabinet + worktop < 760mm, a cut-out in the bottom plate of the cabinet needs to be performed to install the cooker hood.

  9. To install the cooker hood kit 1821.400 (optional) can be used. Follow the steps described in the corresponding installation manual of the extension kit and then continue back from step 8.

  10. Measure the height left (Y1) and right (Y2) from the hob base plate to the supporting surface. Surface mount (L) = Top worktop surface. Flush mount supporting (R) = Milled edge in the worktop.

  11. Set the height (Y) with the leveling feet, and measure from the top surface of the hood to the underside of the leveling feet.

  12. Measure the height (V) from the underside of the hood to the underside of the leveling feet (needed for vertical bend).

  13. Secure the leveling feet with the wrench 17. Measure the height (Q) from the base plate to the ground position.

  14. Cut the vertical bend (1821167) to size X = V + Q.

  15. Slide the vertical bend (1821167) into the outlet piece below the hood.

  16. Make sure that the hood guides are fully inward and secure this position.
