SEALEY AK7500 Wheel Fitting and Alignment Tool

SAFETY
- Follow manufacturers guidance for the specific vehicle being worked on for wheel removal and replacement.
- Use tool only as specified by the manufacturer.
- Seek professional assistance to change vehicle’s wheel if necessary.
- Before commencing any work, undertake a risk assessment. Ensure that a responsible person is aware of the work about to be undertaken.
- Inspect the equipment before each use. DO NOT use if it shows signs of damage.
- Securely chock wheels in contact with the ground. Before jacking and placing the stands, apply vehicle handbrake (put automatics in ‘Park’).
- Take care when manoeuvring heavy objects as fingers could become trapped.
- No alterations or modifications shall be made to this product.
- Once vehicle is supported, ensure that the vehicle and stands are stable before starting work. Ensure that it is not possible for the vehicle to move before commencing any work.
- DO NOT allow children or animals in the vicinity of a supported vehicle.
- DO NOT push or twist the vehicle/load whilst it is supported.
- DO NOT use this product for any other purpose than that for which it is designed. NOTE: Only wheels using M12 and M14 threaded fasteners can be used with this kit. NOTE: Maximum wheel weight 35Kg.
INTRODUCTION
Manufactured from high quality stainless steel. Polypropylene and TPV rubber soft grip handle for comfort and control. Supplied with four CNC machined stainless steel adaptor pegs complete with storage holder. Designed to assist with the lifting and locating of road wheels on to vehicle hubs and intended to be used where there is no access to a vehicle lift such as by the roadside or off the workshop floor. Significantly reduces lifting effort whilst improving body posture. Intended for use on alloy or steel wheels up to 35kg. Suitable for most cars, light goods vehicles, motor homes and caravans.

OPERATION
Familiarise yourself with the safety guidelines (Section 1) in this document.
Follow the vehicle manufacturers guidelines to raise the vehicle using a jack
so the wheel is approximately 5cm or 2” clear of the ground. Remove the road
wheel.
Select the required mounting peg based on type and size of fixing for your
wheel. The peg should fit snugly either in the hub bolt hole or over the wheel
stud (fig.1)
Install the required adaptor peg to the vehicle wheel hub. The adaptor peg
should be fitted to the uppermost position, and if possible, the hub should be
rotated so this is at the 12 o’clock position (fig.2).
Position the wheel so it is in front of the vehicle hub by approximately 10 cm
/ 4”.
Insert the lever through the uppermost hole in the wheel and upwards to engage
with the adaptor peg.
Whilst continuing to push the lever into the wheel hub, use one hand to start
lifting the lever up to raise the wheel.
Use the other hand to steady the top of the wheel. As the lever is raised the
wheel will slide into position Use one hand to push the top of the wheel if
necessary
With the wheel in position, keep one hand on the wheel and withdraw the lever.
Ensure the wheel is pushed fully back and then fit 2 of the wheel nuts / bolts
finger tight.
Remove the adaptor peg and then re-fit all wheel nuts / bolts following the
vehicle manufacturers guide-lines.
MAINTENANCE
Ensure the equipment is in good order and condition.
Owing to the potential hazards associated with this tool, do not misuse, or
make any modification to any components.
It is the responsibility of the tool owner to ensure the operator has read
these instructions, and that the operator is familiar with its use and
limitations.
Remove any oil or grease from all components before use/storage.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.

Warranty: Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is
