Product Usage Instructions

  1. Attach the pop filter to the shock mount by screwing it into the mounting thread with the ‘L’-shaped bracket until securely in place.
  2. Place the NT1-A microphone in the shock mount and loosely screw it into the holder’s base by turning clockwise.
  3. Adjust the height, tilt, and swivel of the pop filter to your preference.
  4. Attach the other mounting thread to your studio arm, microphone stand, or similar fixture.
  5. Connect one end of the provided XLR cable to the base of the NT1-A and the other end to your interface, mixer, or similar device.
  6. Activate 48V phantom power (P48) on your device and start recording!

Q: What should I do if the equipment causes interference?
A: If the equipment causes interference to radio or television reception, try one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a different circuit from the receiver.

NT1-A QUICK START GUIDE

  1. To attach the pop filter to the shock mount, screw it into the mounting thread with the ‘L’-shaped bracket until securely in place
  2. Place the NT1-A inside the shock mount and rotate the microphone clockwise to screw it loosely into the base of the mount
  3. Adjust the orientation of the microphone so that the gold dot faces the pop filter, and then tighten the ring beneath the mount while holding the microphone to secure it in place
  4. Adjust the height, tilt and swivel of the pop filter to taste
  5. Attach the other mounting thread to your studio arm, microphone stand or similar mount
  6. Connect one end of the included XLR cable to the base of the NT1-A and the other end to your interface, mixer or similar device
  7. Enable 48V phantom power (P48) on your device and start recording!
