- Not suitable for carpets with long fibers as the bristles will damage the fibers.
- Keep the vacuum cleaner moving over the carpet surface at all times to avoid damaging the carpet fibers.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all body parts away from moving parts.
- Do not use to pick up flammable liquids such as gasoline or use them in an area where they might be present.
- Do not use the appliance without the dust container filter in place.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
- Use only the manufacturer’s recommended accessories.
- Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- This product is fitted with a thermal cut-out which will activate if the motor overheats due to blocked air inlets. If the appliance cuts out, allow to cool for 1 hour, then empty the dust container and clean all of the filters.
Before First use
- Remove the product from the box.
- Remove any packaging from the product.
Using the Appliance Charging the Wet & Dry Hand Vac
- This unit can be charged directly from the mains using the included mains adaptor.
- To charge the vacuum, connect the mains adaptor to the corresponding jack at the back of the unit and plug the other end into an active mains socket.
- The LED indicator on the body of the charger will light up green to show the charger has been plugged into the mains, red to show the unit is charging, and go out when the unit is fully charged.
The average charging time for this unit is 16 hours on first use and 4-5 hours for subsequent uses.
Turning the Hand Vac on and off
- Push the On/Off switch on the body of the unit to the ON position to turn the unit on. Air will begin emitting from the unit to indicate it has been powered up.
- Release the On/Off switch when the unit is in operation to turn it off. Air will stop emitting from the unit to indicate it has been powered down.
Using the Accessories

The Hand Vac comes complete with a full range of accessories including
•Long nozzle, to vacuum hard-to-reach areas.
•Wet nozzle for vacuuming up liquids Note: After vacuuming liquids hold the nozzle facing downward to prevent water from leaking out.
•Brush attachment for cleaning upholstery or delicate fabrics. -
To use any of the accessories, attach them to the suction end of the vacuum, ensuring they sit flush within the opening.

To remove an attached accessory pull it firmly away from the main body of the unit until it detaches.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |

| The vacuum will not work | •Ensure the vacuum cleaner is fully charged. |
To charge the unit, plug the AC adaptor into it, connect it to the mains
socket and wait until the LED indicator on the charger goes out.
•Check that there are no blockages to the dust tank or filter and remove as
necessary.
The vacuum will not pick up or the suction power is weak.| •The dust
container may be full, or the filters may require cleaning. Empty the dust
container and clean the filters.
•There may be blockages in the filters or dust tank.
Check for blockages and clean the filters and dust tank as detailed in the
“Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Dust is escaping from the vacuum| •The filter may not be installed
correctly or the dust container may be full. Empty the dust container and
reassemble the filter system.
The vacuum is making an unusual sound or humming| •The airflow may
be restricted or blocked. Check for blockages and clean the filters and hose
as detailed in
the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Emptying the Dust tank
Note: Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off and unplugged from the mains before emptying the dust tank.

To remove the dust tank from the vacuum cleaner, press the release button on the main body of the unit, pull the tank firmly towards you and away from the main body of the vacuum.

Once the dust tank has been removed, pull out the filter from inside. To do this, grip the small tab marked “Pull” on the lip of the filter and pull it firmly upwards and away from the dust tank.

Once the filter has been removed, tap it over a rubbish bin or similar surface to remove any dust residue inside3, rinse it under running water and leave it to dry.
Note: Ensure the unit is thoroughly clean and the filter is completely dry before attempting to use or store it. -
Ensure the filter is inserted back into the unit before using it again.
Clearing Blockages
If the dust tank is overfilled, the filter is clogged up, or the vacuum picks
up a larger piece of debris, the vacuum may become clogged.
Should this occur, carry out the following steps to unclog the vacuum:
- Check the dust tank and empty it if necessary.
- Check the filter for any debris and rinse it under running water if necessary, as detailed in the sections above.
- Detach any attachment from the unit and check for blockages.
Storing the Appliance
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and remove any attachments from the front of the unit.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of children.
PLUG WIRING (UK & IRELAND)
This appliance is supplied with a mains adaptor/charger with BS1363 plug pins.
DO NOT use If the socket outlets in your home or office are not suitable
for this product’s mains adaptor/ charger plug pins. Attempts to insert the
mains adaptor/charger into the wrong socket are likely to cause electric
hazards or damage.
DO NOT use with any other mains transformer/charger than the one that is
supplied with this product.
DISPOSAL
