HOW TO PAIR
The addition (+) icon is located in the top right corner of the screen under Settings > Lights. 4. Your lights will be immediately located by the Hue Bluetooth app. The lights will eventually show up on the Home tab.
HOW TO CONNECT TO WIFI
Your bridge will turn on automatically when you plug it in. Using the included network cable, connect it to your Wi-Fi router. Wait for all three lights to turn on before continuing.
HOW TO RESET
Ensure that your lights are on. Open the Hue BT App now, select Settings, Lights, and then your preferred bulb. It will bring up a screen with information about your Hue bulb model and firmware version. When you reach the Reset button, scroll down.
FAQs
What happens if I use this product at 220v? can I use it?
The answer is yes and no! The base unit, the Philips Hue Bridge, works everywhere. The individual bulbs depend on their generation. Normal Philips Hue bulbs will work, Philips Hue Lux bulbs won’t.
Can these be used in an outdoor lantern?
Yeah It can be used outside.
The E12 candle bulb. What is the height of the bulb?
The white and clear parts total 10cm. The silver screw-in part is 1.5cm, total 11.5cm.
What are the actual dimensions of the bulb? The dimensions in the description do not appear to be accurate.
The dimensions of A-19 LED bulb is about the same as a conventional light bulb although the top of it may be a little flatter and less rounded and the base that screws into the fixture will also be the same.
Hello it might have the answer myself but if my lamp have E14 does this e12 works? Or do I need an adapter for this bulb?
The E12 will need an adapter since that is the diameter. E14 is 13.5 millimeters (mm) and E12 is 11.5 mm. Luckily with adapter you can put the E12 into the E14.

It’s up to 450 lumens bright. Approximately 40w.
Can I use these without electricity?
If you are insistent on using this lightbulb off grid where there is no electricity, recommend purchasing some potatoes, copper, zinc and wires and follow online instructions to create a potato battery. Or you can simply purchase a potato battery kit from Amazon. However, you will likely not be able to enjoy controlling the lightbulb with your Philips Hue app and therefore personally recommend going with a “dumb” lightbulb that’s more cost effective or simply a wax candle.
will this work on a dimmer switch?
Dimmable only with Hue compatible devices!!
Is the powered by the “wiz connected” app? I already have 4 bulbs from Philips that use this for colors.
This specific bulb is not. Only bulbs with the “wiz icon”, on the box work together.
Will it fit the fan enclosure? Mine has 2 bulbs that looks very similar?
You’ll need to look at the size of the socket, not just the bulb. My chandelier had the same shape of bulb, but the socket was much larger. I had to get an adapter so that these bulbs would fit properly (the adapters work great).
I have a lamp that takes 8 wattage maximum. Will these bulbs be okay for that?

How bright are these for the Candelabra bulbs? Thinking of 3, would light a room?
Depends on room size. Basic size bedroom will be lit by one. Open living room with a dining room attached, two or three will light it for sure. It’s white light and bright at that. So most definitely two or three will light a room.
Why is this >3x the price of standard sized Philips hue bulb with Bluetooth? it seems a bit of a money grab
I believe Amazon provides a compare function for these. But I believe the ones you are looking at have the “color ambiance” function. I have one of these in my family room and one in my bedroom. The rest I do not spend the extra money on them and just get the regular white only ones.
