WATTS WMZ 2026-V Ni Heat meter installation set
Application
The Watts heat meter installation set WMZ 2026-V Ni is to be used in combination with a heating circuit manifold with con-nection 1″ male for the vertical installation of a 110 mm (¾”) or 130 mm (1″) heat meter. Depending on the version, the installa-tion set is supplied with or without a ball valve set. The addition-al ball valve set consists of 2 ball valves for shutting off the sys-tem. A sensor connection M10x1 is provided on the ball valves.

Installation
Requirement: the supply branch of the heating circuit man-ifold must be mounted at the bottom and the return branch must be mounted on the top. In the opposite case, exchange the supply and return branches.
- Shut off the heating circuit manifold before mounting the installation set.
- Mount the WMZ 2026-V heat meter installation set on the left or right side of the heating circuit manifold as shown in the picture in section 3 “Component overview”.
- Before mounting the heat meter, shut off the installation set and the heating circuit manifold.
- Mount the heat meter:
- Heat meter, 110 mm ¾”: remove the fitting piece (3) and mount the heat meter with the connection ¾”.
- Heat meter, 130 mm 1″: remove the fitting piece (3) and adaptors (4) and mount the heat meter with the connection 1″.
- Mount the temperature sensor of the heat meter with M10x1 thread on the connection (6.1) of the supply ball valve.
- Tighten all connections. Tightening torques of the screw connections: ¾” – 35 Nm; 1″ – 55 Nm.
- Fill and flush the heating system, add antifreeze if there is a risk of freezing.
- Check the heating system for leaks.
- Set the flow rate on the control valve (2) as follows:
- Remove the protective cap
- Close the control valve (2) completely by turning it clockwise with an 8 mm Allen key.
- Set the flow rate by turning it counterclockwise according to the diagram in section 5.
- Put the protective cap.
