Safety and Warnings

Intended Use
NETTA Design is for domestic and indoor use only. This product is not intended for use by people who have lack of experience and knowledge or have reduced ability, or sensory and mental capabilities.

Regular Check-Ups
Ensure the power cable and plug are not damaged before plugging into a socket. Check all the knobs are functioning correctly.

General Warnings

When using this appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

  • Please read these instructions carefully before use.
  • Ensure the plug is connected to the mains socket securely.
  • Before connecting the appliance to power, ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage of your home.
  • Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
  • Keep this appliance away from water or moisture.
  • Do not operate this appliance with a damaged power cord.
  • Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. If the heater malfunctions, please contact your supplier.
  • Close supervision is required when using the appliance near children.
  • Always remove the plug from the power supply before cleaning the appliance.
  • When unplugging this appliance, ensure you grasp the plug and pull from the socket. Do not pull on the power cord.
  • Do not use outside.
  • Do not insert or remove the plug from the socket with wet hands as this may cause an electric shock.
  • The oil heater must only be used in the upright position.
  • Keep flammable objects away from this appliance.
  • Place the oil heater on the floor at least 90cm away from the wall and any other objects such as furniture, curtains or plants.
  • The surface of this appliance can get hot. If you must touch the appliance, please only use the handles.
  • Do not cover the appliance whilst it is in use.
  • Do not use this appliance if it has been dropped or damaged.

Assembling the Product

  1. Turn the heater upside down.
  2. As shown in figure 1, align the mounting holes of a set of caster wheels and install it on the screw of the caster pad plate at the end of the radiator fin. Do the same with the other set of caster wheels.
  3. As shown in figure 2, tighten the caster assembly by adding and tightening the four butterfly nuts. Tighten them until secure, turn the heater back to the upright position and place it where you want it in the room.

Using the Remote Control

The instructions for the remote control are consistent with the operation of the main control panel of the machine. The remote control cannot control the combination key.

Operating the Product

Working/Standby
Plug in the power cord and the buzzer will beep. Press the ‘ON/OFF’ key to enter ‘working’ mode. To enter ‘standby’ mode, press the ‘ON/OFF’ key again.

Function Modes
To set the ‘function’, press the function key and choose between the work modes. Choose between Low (800w), Medium (1200w) and High (2000w).

Temperature Settings
When the device is in ‘working’ mode, press and hold the ‘+’ key or the ‘-‘ key to set the temperature. After setting the temperature, do not press any buttons for 5 seconds and the device will exit the temperature setting screen.

Memory Function
When the device is started up again, it will operate according to the status before the last ‘standby’.

Safety Protection Function
When the indoor ambient temperature exceeds 50°C, all outputs are turned off and the buzzer will produce a 10 second beep. The digital display screen will show a flashing ‘FF’. Once the ambient temperature has dropped below 50°C, you will need to turn the device off and on again for it to resume operation.

Timer Settings
To schedule ‘working’ mode: Press the ‘timer’ key in ‘standby’ mode to enter the timer setting screen. Press the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ key to set the scheduled time. When the timer reaches your set time, the device will enter ‘working’ mode.

To schedule ‘standby’ mode: Press the ‘timer’ key in ‘working’ mode to enter the timer setting screen. Press the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ key to set the scheduled time. When the timer reaches your set time, the device will enter ‘standby’ mode.

The timer can be set between 0-24 hours. The ‘+’/’-‘ keys will increase/decrease the time by 1 hour. When the set value is ‘0H’, press the ‘-‘ key to set the timer to ‘24h’ and vice versa.
When the set value is ‘0H’, there is no set timer. If it is not ‘0H’, the timer is in progress.

To exit the timer setting screen, press the timer or function key (or press no buttons for 5 seconds).

After the timer has started, press the ‘timer’ key to check the remaining time and/or reset the timer.

Shut Down
When in ‘working’ mode, press the ON/OFF button to enter ‘standby’ mode. Unplug the power cord, wait for the device to cool down and place the heater in a secure and stable place.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage

  • The oil heater should be cleaned regularly to remove dust on the surface of the fins.
  • Unplug from the power supply and allow to cool down before attempting to clean the appliance.
  • Clean only using with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives.
  • Do not scrape the surfaces of the fins with sharp hard tools. This will damage the paintwork and potentially cause rust.

Storage

  • Ensure the appliance is completely cool before storing.
  • Roll up the power cord in the supports when the heater is not in use.
  • Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
