NOTE:
Stakes are not provided. The installer is responsible for the appropriate
anchoring / staking of the product.
(1) Piece Eaves are also available in 15’ and 20’ sizes.
MANPOWER REQUIRED
Two experienced installers should be able to assemble tent in less than thirty
minutes.
TOOLS REQUIRED
Sledge Hammer 4’ Step Ladder
INSPECT SITE-CAUTION:
Consult your local utility locator service or the National Utility Locating
Contractors Association (NULCA) prior to installation.
Prior to actual tent assembly, be sure to look up, down, above & below for
obstacles, pipes, wires, trouble, etc.
LAYOUT & CHECK
Utilize parts list for a quick I.D. and a check list to ensure that you have
all the parts.
IDENTIFY AND LAY OUT PARTS FOR ASSEMBLY
(10’ x 10’ SHOWN THROUGHOUT)
**ASSEMBLE EAVES
**
Join 2-piece eaves if applicable using splice pc. Join ends of eaves with
corner castings. F3 Frame Extrusion
ATTACH CABLES
Snap one end of cable to corner casting as shown below, then snap other end of
cable to opposite corner. For second cable snap one end to corner casting and
for the opposite corner, raise frame until snap slips onto eye on corner
casting, then lower to ground.
SQUARE TENT – LAYOUT STAKES FOR GUYS
Using cables, square tent on ground. Position tent to desired location.
Measure for guys out at 4’-0” and 45° from corner castings. Drive stake thru
ring of guy web.
INSTALL TOP
Unfold top over eaves and cables on a drop cloth.
Pull tabs at corners of top over corner castings.
Secure by placing slot in tabs over ring on corner casting.
LIFT ONE SIDE
Lift one corner of frame, insert upright into corner casting. Repeat at 2nd
upright at an adjacent corner. Set uprights into baseplates.
NOTE:
If wind is strong, connect guy snaps to corner castings loosely before lifting
frame.

ATTACH TENSION STRAPS
Place curtain web through triangle ring at end of tab as shown. Fasten upper
hook of tension strap to curtain web. Insert ring at bottom of web in
baseplate.
Use ratchet to take up slack in web. This prevents uprights from sliding off
weldment when other side of tent is raised.
Do not over-tension at this time.
Repeat at other uprights.
RAISE PEAK
Carefully position center pole pin through pole hole in top. Use caution to
prevent tearing of fabric. Raise top by pushing pole on the upper cable. Slide
pole along cable in slot at bottom of pole and attach lock pin to secure.
Remove drop cloth.
Caution:
Base of pole is on a roller for ease of installation.
Be sure movement of pole is controlled (fi rmly held) during installation and
removal to prevent base from moving too quickly. ADJUST CENTER POLE
Center Poles are set to optimum height using the top lock pin. Height may be
adjusted by removing lock pin and adjusting height of pole and reinserting
lock pin as required.
LIFT OTHER SIDE
Raise opposite side by repeating Step 5.
Attach remaining uprights.
Plumb uprights.
Firmly tension all guy webs before proceeding further.
SECURE TENT
Once tent is square and guyed out, drive stakes into base plates.
Stake hole of base plate should point toward center pole.

TENSION TOP
A fi rmly tensioned top is “required” for proper installation. Pull fabric tightly and smoothly to minimize water pooling, wind damage, fabric shifting. Use ratchets to tension fabric to base plate.
TAKE DOWN
- Loosen Web Guys And Remove Stakes in Base Plates.
- Loosen Tension Straps.
- Reverse Installation Steps.
Make sure all guy webs are loosened, allowing uprights to shift during take
down to prevent damage to ends of uprights.
IMPORTANT:
Check Web Guys and Tension Straps Periodically for Tightness and Good
Condition.
Store Tent in a cool, dry area. Never store while wet or damp.
NOTE:
Tensioning of top can change from installation to installation. Cable stretch,
fabric shrinkage or elongation and other factors can require a diff erent
amount of tension to center pole.
Wall Installation
Before beginning, make sure kedar channel is facing straight down. To
rotate, slightly loosen guy webs and insert winch bar tool or similar object
into 1/2” eave hole. Retighten guy webs once complete.
Step 1
Determine which side of wall is inside and out. Ground bar pockets are on
outside, Lace fl ap is on inside. Start by feeding top of kedar edge into
channel opening until top of wall is as far as it will go. (Figure A)
Insert the bottom edge of kedar into channel opening and feed down until wall
is smoothly installed into upright.
Step 2
Starting with wall tab nearest the lace, insert into slotted opening in bottom
channel of eave bar. Feed rest of wall tabs into channel.
Step 3
Repeat with the matching half of the wall.
Step 4
Lace wall starting at top of wall bringing top loop thru the top grommet of
matching half of wall to inside of wall. Continue with this process looping
next loop thru grommet and then the upper loop until all loops are laced. (See
Figure B) Tie off bottom loop to keep lace together.
Step 5
Slide ground bar (Figure C) thru pocket on outside of wall.
Fasten to base plate using 3/4” bolt as shown in Figure D. EVANSVILLE,

For each installation, the installer is solely responsible for evaluating the site and the proper securing method determined. Some soils require different staking or securing than that provided with the tent. Due to this variety of soil conditions, these are the manufacturer’s suggested sequence of installation procedures. Anchor’s responsibility is limited to the manufacture of the tent parts and materials. We are not responsible for methods that installers may choose to erect and secure the tent to the ground.

The number of stakes suggested in the installation instructions do not necessarily meet all or any relevant codes on the site of the tent installation. The number of stakes suggested will, in many cases, keep the tent erected, however, due to various soil conditions; these stakes will be insufficient to keep the tent secure in high winds. It is the tent installer’s responsibility, not the manufacturer, to determine the appropriate number of stakes to meet the necessary wind loads on the site. Regardless of the number of stakes we suggest, we make no representation or warranty as to whether this specific number of stakes will meet the local tent code. Anchor does not, nor can it make any suggestions, representation, or warranties about the adequate staking required at each specific installation site. Staking information provided in the installation instructions is not a suggestion about what is necessary to meet a site-specific load.

Inasmuch as the weather is unpredictable, good judgment and common sense must be incorporated within installation guidelines. It is the responsibility of the tent installer/maintainer to determine the severity of the weather, proper time and method of installation and/or erection and disassembly. Note: We recommend that snow and ice be removed from the tent surface as soon as possible because accumulation will damage the tent or fabric structure. Please consult with our Engineering Department about the maximum loads for each product.
This product has been manufactured for use as a temporary structure. For the safety of all occupants, evacuation is recommended if threatening weather occurs, or if there is any doubt concerning the safe use of this product. -
Proper safety equipment should be used at all times to insure a safe installation and take down. We suggest a careful evaluation be made to determine safety equipment needed, such as hard hats, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and other as required. It is our desire that all installations are safe. Please be aware of hidden dangers both underground, i.e., gas lines, water lines, electrical lines, etc. and above the tent such as power lines and telephone lines.
