Product Information
The product is a drone model HS175D manufactured by Holystone. It comes with a transmitter for controlling the drone. The drone features a GPS system, HD camera, power indicator, power switch, propellers A and B, an optical flow lens, and a drone battery. The transmitter includes buttons for taking photos and recording videos, joysticks for controlling the drone’s movements, power switch, takeoff/landing button, phone holder, headless mode button, compass calibration button, lens adjustment buttons, a speed switch button, foldable handle, charging port, return to home button, and an antenna.
Product Usage Instructions
- Scan the QR code provided in the manual to download the HS GPS V5 App and access the tutorial video and instructions for use.
- Charging: Attach the USB charging cable to a USB Adapter (5V/2A) and connect it to the charging port of the drone battery or transmitter. The charging status will be indicated by flashing or solid lights.
- Getting the Drone Ready:
- Insert the fully charged drone battery into the drone.
- Turn on the power switch (located on the drone) to activate the drone.
- Ensure that the indicator lights on the drone are solid green before proceeding.
- Getting the Transmitter Ready:
- Insert batteries (not included) into the transmitter.
- Turn on the power switch (located on the transmitter) to activate it.
- Pairing: Follow the instructions for pairing the drone with the transmitter. The indicator lights on both devices will turn solid when successfully paired.
- Connecting to Wi-Fi: Follow the steps to connect the drone to Wi-Fi using the HS GPS V5 App.
- Calibrating the Compass:
- Place the drone on a level surface.
- Follow the instructions to calibrate the compass. Avoid calibrating in locations with strong magnetic interference.
- Calibrating the Gyro: Perform gyro calibration on a level surface.
- Unlocking the Motors: Only unlock and control the drone when the indicator lights on the drone are solid green (indicating a good GPS signal).
- Take-off: Fly the drone in an open outdoor area without obstructions.
- Flight Direction Control: Use the left joystick to control the drone’s height and orientation, and use the right joystick for forward, backward, and lateral movements.
- Landing: Safely land the drone after completing the flight.

CHARGING
Attach the USB charging cable to a USB Adapter (5V/2A), then link it with the charging port of the drone battery or transmitter.
GET THE DRONE READY
GET THE TRANSMITTER READY
PAIRING
The indicator lights on the drone and the transmitter will turn solid if the drone is paired successfully.
CONNECT TO WI-FI
CALIBRATE THE COMPASS
DO NOT calibrate the compass in locations with strong magnetic interference, such as near magnets, parking lots, or construction sites with underground reinforced concrete structures.
CALIBRATE THE GYRO
Be sure to perform gyro calibration on a level surface.
UNLOCK THE MOTORS
Please make sure that you only unlock and control the drone when the indicator lights on the drone are solid green (that is, the GPS signal is good).
TAKE-OFF
Please fly the drone in an open outdoor area free of surrounding obstructions.
FLIGHT DIRECTION CONTROL
The left joystick is responsible for controlling the drone’s height and orientation in flight, whereas the right joystick dictates the movements in forward, backward, and lateral directions.
