SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Failure to follow these instructions will seriously reduce the protection provided by the earmuffs.
  • Always use ear protection in noisy environments to avoid hearing impairment.
  • Check at regular intervals that the product is undamaged and working properly. Worn or damaged earmuffs can result in inferior protection. If the cups are cracked, if the seals are worn or defective, or if they have been exposed to chemicals, they should be discarded and replaced. The earmuffs, especially the sealing rings, can deteriorate over time and should always be examined before use to make sure they are not cracked or admit noise.
  • Attaching hygienic protection on the pads can affect the acoustic properties of the cups.
  • Clean and disinfect the headband, cups and sealing rings regularly with a cloth moistened with hot water and mild detergent, especially after prolonged use or if moisture has collected in the cups. Only use detergent that does not irritate the skin. Allow to completely dry before using. Remove the batteries if the product is not going to be used for some time.
  • Do not subject the product to knocks and blows, this can reduce the protective capacity and/or damage the radio.
  • Adjust to a safe volume before use. Do not listen to loud volume for long – risk of hearing impairment. The higher the volume, the less time you can listen safely.
  • Listen with a safe volume for a reasonable time.
  • Avoid increasing the volume gradually, the ears can adjust.
  • Keep the volume low enough so that you can hear sounds from the immediate surroundings.
  • Switch off the sound in risky situations.
  • Loud volume from headphones can cause permanently impaired hearing.
  • It is recommended to avoid using headphones that cover both ears when driving a vehicle. It may also be illegal in some areas.
  • Avoid music or phone calls that can be distracting in traffic, or in potentially dangerous situations.
  • Adjust the earmuffs in accordance with the instructions so that they fit properly on the head.
  • Always wear earmuffs when you are exposed to harmful noise.
  • Do not expose the earmuffs to chemicals.
  • The audibility of warning signals is reduced when wearing earmuffs.
  • Do not use paint, solvent or glue on the product, or put stickers etc. on it, unless recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The quality of the radio receiver is influenced by the surroundings. The radio reception can deteriorate when in motion. Interference can be caused by televisions, fluorescent lighting or other electrical appliances.
  • Replace all the AAA batteries, or charge the rechargeable battery when the volume deteriorates.
  • Improper use and failure to follow the instructions can result in personal injury and/or material damage.
  • The earmuffs limit the sound pressure level for entertainment sound to 79.4 dB(A).
  • This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from the manufacturer.
  • Earmuffs that comply with EN 352-1 are of the medium-sized type, small type or large type. These ear defenders are of medium size and will suit most users. Always use a uitable size of ear defenders that fit comfortably and firmly, and seal tightly round the ears. If these ear defenders do not fit, choose another size.

WARNING!

  • Do not expose the product to high temperatures.

  • Do not expose the product to splashing water, or any other liquid.
  • Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents or agents that contain alcohol, benzene or ammoniac.
  • Clean when necessary with a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
  • Protect the built-in battery from heat, direct sunlight, naked flames and other sources of heat.
  • The incorrect insertion of batteries can result in a risk of explosion. Only use batteries of the recommended type.
  • This ear-muff is provided with electrical audio input. The wearer should check correct operation before use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer to the manufacturers advice.
  • The output of the electrical audio circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the daily limit sound level.

ATTENUATION VALUES

USE

ADJUSTING THE EARMUFFS

  1. Extend the headband.
  2. Place the cups over each ear, make sure that the microphone is in the forward position.
  3. Move the cups up or down in the headband to adjust them, so that they fit firmly and comfortably and seal round the ears.

NOTE:
Pull hair away from your ears and use glasses with thin frames to minimise the admission of noise. Never attempt to change the shape of the headband.

BLUETOOTH
When the Bluetooth function is turned on, and the battery power is low, the indicator light flashes red every l0 seconds, and a sound is heard every 2 minutes. After the battery is exhausted or the pairing time exceeds 5 minutes, the Bluetooth will automatically shut down.

Bluetooth On/Off

  • Press and hold the “On/Off” switch for 3 seconds, the Bluetooth function is turned on. The indicator light is blue (on for 1 second).
  • Pressand hold the “On/Off” switch for 3 seconds to turn off the Bluetooth function. The indicator light is red (on for 1 second).

Pairing
If there is a device in the pairing list, the earmuffs will actively connect to the device when powered on.

  1. Press and hold the “On/Off” switch for 6 seconds while in the off state, or press and hold the “Play” button for 3 seconds to disconnect when connected. The earmuffs is ready to be paired, and the Bluetooth indicator flashes blue every l0 seconds.
  2. Find and pair the product with your device. The pairing is saved in the pairing list.

NOTE:
ln the Bluetooth disconnected state, push and hold the “Volume-” and “Volume+” buttons at the same time for 5 seconds, which will clear the list of paired devices.

Call function

  • Push the “Play” button to answer an incoming call.
  • Push and hold the “Play” button to reject an incoming call.
  • Push the “Play” button to end an ongoing call. Push the “Play” button twice to switch between the earmuffs and the device during the call.
  • Push the “Play” button twice to call the last number dialled.
  • Use the “Volume-” and “Volume+” buttons to decrease or increase call volume.

Music controls

  • When the earmuffs is connected, push the “Play” button to play music.
  • During playback, push the “Play” button to pause.
  • During playback, push the “Volume+” and “Volume-” buttons to increase or decrease the volume
  • Push and hold the “Volume+” and “Volume-” buttons to play the next or previous song.

AUX

Connect the 3.5 mm audio cable between the earmuffs and the playback device.

NOTE:

  • The earmuffs cannot adjust the volume, it must be adjusted on the playback device.
  • Connecting an audio cable automatically disconnects Bluetooth connection.

TO CHARGE THE PRODUCT

  1. Connect the USB charger to the earmuff, using the equipped USB charging cable.
  2. The charging indicator lights becomes red to indicate that it is charging.
  3. The charging indicator becomes green to indicate that charging is complete.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

  • Clean the earmuffs with mild soap and water. They must not be dipped into water.
  • Examine the earmuffs for wear and damage.
  • Store the product in a dry place. The temperature must not exceed 60°C.
