SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

  • No safety equipment can provide full protection from injury.
  • The product must not be modified.
  • The knee pads must be adjusted to provide the intended protection. Adjust the knee pads so that they fit properly over the knees.
  • Worn knee pads provide inferior protection and should be discarded and replaced.
  • The pad is not waterproof.
  • They can be affected by rapid changes in temperature. The recommended ambient temperature is -20 to so0c.
  • Kneeling for long periods can cause discomfort, injury and the risk of inflammation in knee joints. The use of knee pads can counteract such problems, but does not guarantee complete protection.

PERFORMANCE CLASSES

Three performance classes are defined on the basis of performance requirements during laboratory testing.

Class 0:

| Knee pad only suitable for use on smooth floor surfaces, and which does not provide protection from penetration.

Class 1:

| Knee pad suitable for use on smooth or rough floor surfaces, and which provides protection from penetration with a force of up to 100 ± 5 N.

Class 2:

| Knee pad suitable for use on smooth or rough floor surfaces in demanding conditions, and which provides protection from penetration with a force of up to 250 ± 5 N.

use

  • The knee pads should be used in pairs.
  • When working in a kneeling position you should keep your back straight and avoid sitting on your heels.
  • Change position at frequent intervals. Do not kneel for more than one hour at once, take regular pauses and flex your legs.
  • Seek medical attention if your knees or calves become swollen when kneeling.
    1. Release the top hook and the bottom strap.
    2. Place the knee pad in front of the knee and fasten the bottom strap in the Velcro fastener so that the knee pad fits firmly to the knee.
    3. Hook on the top strap and adjust the band so that it fits comfortably and secure.

MAINTENANCE

  • Store in a dry place at room temperature.
  • The knee pads can be cleaned with a lightly moistened cloth.
