WARNING

  • Never use this product on a stand
  • This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided
  • Only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface
  • Do not let other children play unattended near the carry cot
  • Do not use if any part of the carry cot is broken, torn or missing
  • Do not leave flexible carrying handles inside the carry cot

WARNING

  • Make sure that the adjustable handle is in carrying position before carrying the carry cot

  • Do not add another mattress on top of the mattress provided

  • When using the carry cot make sure that the head of the child never is lower than the body of the child.

  • The handles and the bottom of the carrycot should be inspected regularly for signs of damage and wear.

  • Do not leave children unattended.

  • A child´s safety is your responsibility.

  • Do not let your child play with this product.

  • Ensure that the carrycot attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

  • To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.

  • Follow the manufacturer´s instructions.

  • Put on all the brakes whenever you park the stroller.

  • Make sure children are clear of any moving parts if you adjust the stroller,otherwise they may be injured.

  • The carrycot can only be used for the transportation of one child from 0 to 6 months. This carrycot is suitable for a child who cannot sit up by itself, roll over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child: 9kg.

  • Do not carry extra children or bags o this pram/stroller.

  • Do not use or park the vehicle close to open fires or other sources of heat such as radiators for example.

  • Avoid steps, stairs and escalators whenever possible. Always stand below the stroller if used on an escalator.

  • Follow the care and maintenance instructions.

  • Please use only one authorised accessory at a time.

  • Do not place objects on the hood.
    Never use the pram without the hood.

  • If any part of this manual is unclear or requires further explanation, please\ contact an authorised Emmaljunga retailer who will be able to assist you.

  • The pram is intended for transportation only. Never use the pram as a bed for your child.

  • Never leave the pram with a child in it without engaging the brake.

  • The brake should always be engaged when you lift your child in and out of the pram.

  • Never park the pram on a hill or an uneven surface.

  • Check that all zips and poppers are securely fastened before use.

  • Always remove the child before you fold the pram.

  • Only use original replacement parts supplied by Emmaljunga.

  • The carrycot must not be used as a car seat.

  • If you need to identify this product there is a sticker showing the model name and serial number placed on the chassis / pram body / bassinet.

General

The safety instructions and directions in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and unforeseeable situations which may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be built into a product. These factors are the responsibility of the person(s) caring for and operating the pram. It is importantthat these instructions are understood and followed by everyone that uses the pram and accessories. Always inform and instruct each person using the pram and accessories on how they should be used, even if the person(s) in question will only use them for a short time.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • To maintain the products original fabric colour as long as possible, do not expose the product to excessive sunlight for long periods of time since the sun affects all fabrics and it can make it fade.
  • Never store your product in cold and/ or damp places.
  • Always use a rain cover when it is snowing or raining. The product’s fabric is water repellent and cannot withstand long periods of exposure to rain or snow. You will find more information in the handbook for your pram.

Check the following regularly:

  • That all of the locking devices work correctly
  • That all of the plastic parts are not damaged or broken.
  • That all zip fasteners work
  • That all press studs are properly attached
  • That all elastic bands are attached and are in good condition
  • That all carrying straps and the bottom of the product is not damaged or worn.

WARNING

  • Get in touch with your authorised Emmaljunga retailer immediately to replace a damaged or worn part with a new part.


Cleaning Instructions

  • Use a mild detergent and hand wash the cover (30 degrees) and allow it to drip-dry; do not use a tumble dryer
  • Leatherette: Clean with a damp cloth, use only one drop of mild liquid soap, dry in room temperature.

Ironing:

  • Place a cloth which is made of 100% cotton between the iron and the fabric in order to protect the textile parts. Use a warm iron, but not too hot. The outer fabric is made of polyester and nylon.
  • Ensure that all fabric coverings/parts are dry before you assemble the lift.
  • You can impregnate (apply scotchguard) the fabrics once again.
    Always do this before you refit the fabric parts.

WARNING

  • Do not transport your child/children in the lift for at least 24 hours after applying a material protector.
  • Always check that you have refitted the parts correctly in accordance with the instructions in the handbook after washing or maintenance.
