Is this heater energy efficient?
I use to heat one room, works great. as for energy consumption, I have notice very little change in electric bill. I personally recommend unit but never leave house unattended. yes, it has safety shut off but for my own peace of mind, I unplug.
What is the lowest temperature setting?
The lowest temperature setting = 40 degrees F.
I was going to put this between 2 pieces of furniture, with about 3″ clearance on left and right. is that safe? Does heat come out the sides?
Heat comes out the front the unit does not get hot to the touch.
Does this unit turn on or off at a desired temperature?
Yes, this unit goes on at about 2 degrees under you set temperature and goes off at around 1 or 2 degrees above the set temperature. I’m very satisfied with the operation and comfort it provides in my 34 foot travel trailer with 2 slideouts.
What is the lowest temperature setting?
you can set the thermostat to shut off at any range between 40 and 99 F (i.e., if you set it to 45F it will turn off when the temperature is above 45F).
Does this work wirelessly? If so, for how long? Can it be used during power outages for extra heat?

yes. when you shut it off the fan continues to blow until the heating elements have been cooled before the fan shuts off.
does it have lifetime filters or replaceable?
The heater has washable lifetime filters.
Is this a toaster?
You are kidding with this question aren’t you. It’s a space heater.
How long cord for this heater? Do instructions say it’s ok to use an extension cord?
Instructions do say NOT to use with extension cord, like almost every other heater, but I do believe it has a recommendation of a specific extension cord rating to be used if you must use one.
In terms of cord length, I think it’s about 3ft, maybe a tad longer. For us it’s plugged in the wall in the area we use it in, so no need for an extension cord.
Can this heater be used in a greenhouse?
Yes, you can use this heater in a greenhouse. Can this be used in a garage?
I would have to say no. We has a few classic cars and my husband has a more powerful heater for our 2 car garage.
How long is the electrical cord?
My cord measures 5’10”. This is a very good heater. I researched in on Consumers Reports before I purchased it.
I have an unheated sunroom 150 sf, gets down to 40 degrees. Will it heat it?
It will heat the 150 ft but the heater is directional. I sit in front of it in a large room or point it towards my couch. It heats up fast – great heater.
