Our brand- new DS Series features the smallest cabinet of any device in its class and offers up to 600 Watts of dependable, cool-running Sunfire bass. And while power is nothing without excellent fidelity, all DS Series subwoofers have Sunfire’s exclusive FFD technology, which no other subwoofer can match. Instead of watching or listening to movies or music like those other manufacturers, FFD offers minimal distortion, high output performance.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a Sunfire Dynamic Series Subwoofer. We hope you enjoy it and the music it makes as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you.
The big features of the subwoofer are its high-efficiency Class D digital amplifier, and its computer-optimized woofer and passive radiator design. And, the Sunfire Dynamic Series’ extended frequency response means that your subwoofer is the perfect match to virtually any loudspeaker. The result is extraordinarily high operating efficiency – that is, more acoustic output for each watt of input.

Warranty
Sunfire, a division of Elan Home Systems, LLC, is proud of its products which have been built with care using advanced technology and premium component parts. Your unit has been crafted to perform properly for many years. The warranty details for your product are shown on the sunfire website.
Location
Your SDS Subwoofer is designed to be placed in a corner for optimum performance.
Experiment with at least two corners and decide which sounds the best.
Although low frequencies are non-direction al, room reflections, standing waves, resonance and absorption strongly affect the performance. Moving the subwoofer from one corner to another can have a major effect on the bass response.
Keep it at least two or three feet away from any CRT screen, computer, VCR or magnetic tapes and discs. This will reduce the chance of the magnetic fields upsetting the CRT screen or erasing your magnetic media.
Also position the control panel so that it is not touching anything and can receive good ventilation.
Using Two Subwoofers
With two subwoofers, the sound output will double. Place each subwoofer in a corner, and experiment with the location and phase control to achieve the best bass response.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is it 110 or 220 V?****
It is 110V.
Is there a power source needed for this, or can it be plugged directly into your television?****
There won’t be a subwoofer output on the TV, sorry. It is intended for AV receivers and amplifiers. You require something similar to a SONOS wireless subwoofer for a TV.
Is the subwoofer sealed?****
No port, as stated. Sub has a 10″ passive radiator that fires downward and a 10″ woofer that fires forward.
What are the audio requirements? Is it unique to subwoofer cable or any speaker wire?****
This subwoofer has to be connected to a subwoofer RCA wire.
Can a speaker-level connection be utilized with it?****
Only RCA line-level inputs are available for the Sunfire SDS subwoofers; no speaker-level inputs are available.

An 8″ subwoofer will deliver clear, precise bass. In general, an 8 subwoofer will provide you with great, economical, clean bass. There are some 8-inch subwoofers that sound pretty nice, and some may even compare them to a lower end 10″ or 12″.
What size subs sound the best?****
The best subwoofers for the majority of people are 10-inch and 12-inch models because they are reasonably priced and capable of producing passable sound. 15″ subwoofers are the greatest option if you enjoy listening to music louder because they will provide you with the best overall performance.

The cutting-edge, high-performing goods that made Bob Carver renowned will still be offered.
What engine does a Sunfire have?****

How do I make my subwoofer sound deeper?****
Your subwoofer should be positioned facing outward into the rest of the room and within 8–12 inches of a wall for the best sound quality. Consider locating your subwoofer in the room’s corner for even greater output, since this placement can greatly improve the overall sound.
Should Subs be louder than bass?****
If you want to have enough headroom for the rest of the song, subbass should peak at -12 dB. Keep the subbass 2 to 5 dB below the kick drum as a general rule of
