Warning

Risk of Electric Shock

Ensure power is off before installation or inspection. All wirings are performed in accordance with Electrical Code and local electrical code.

Risk of Fire

Fixtures are rated for use in 120V, 60Hz protected circuit and 90°C rated supply wire.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

While performing installations described, gloves, safety glasses or goggles should be worn.

Install this kit only in the luminaire that have the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings. Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.

To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
Do not alter, relocate, or remove wiring, lamp holders, power supply, or any other electrical component.

THE RETROFIT KIT IS ACCEPTED AS A COMPONENT OF A LUMINAIRE WHERE THE SUITABILITY OFTHE COMBINATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY CSA OR AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS.

Installation

Disconnect the power before installation. Exploded view of completed assembly with component call nut. 1, 2, 3, etc.

Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all ports are present. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts. Open the diffuser latches.
Open the junction box. Junction box contains three wires: hot (black), neutral (white) and bare ground. Connect the two hot wires together with wiring nuts (one from the light switch cable and the other from the recessed housing). Repeat the step with the two neutral wires. Close the junction box to complete the wiring. Install the electrical box screws in the junction box.
Use the switch to choose desired color Temperature.
Put the fixture plate across the screw of the lock, then rotate fixture plate clockwise and lock it tightly with the screw lock. Securely mount the fixture plate to the junction box firmly.
Turn the 3 diffuser latches to the right until they are closed. Restore power to the electrical box. Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
