INTELLINET 561778 Outdoor Vandalproof Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Injector Instructions

Cable Connections: Follow these general steps to make waterproof connections on all cables that connect to the unit.

Insert cable through Nut and Body. Attach Insert between them.
Install cable plug into port/outlet.
Tighten Body to unit.
Push Insert into Body.
Tighten Nut to Body. Power Connections — WARNING: Ensure all

power is off/disconnected before beginning! Make sure your power adapter complies with the specifications of this unit (DC input: 24.0 – 56.0 V DC, 1.5 A max.).
Insert bare power-supply wires into appropriate slots on terminal block plug (positive wire into positive slot; negative wire into negative slot). Tighten appropriate screws to secure wires. Install plug into outlet.
RJ45 Connections
Connect Cat5e/6/6a Ethernet cable from a 10/100/1000 Mbps network device to the DATA In port.
Connect Cat5e/6/6a Ethernet cable from a 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE device to the PoE Out port.
Wire the grounding terminal to an earthgrounding object to protect equipment from external electrical surges.
Ensure all connections are secure and apply power.

Notes

LEDs: PWR (green; unit has power); PoE (green; power supplied to PD).
Wall mounting: First, install screws (5.5 – 6.5 mm screw head diameter recommended) into wall at appropriate distances. Then, hang the unit on the screws and slide it into place so it is secure.
Supports all IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant PoE devices (wireless LAN access points and bridges, VoIP telephones, IP surveillance cameras).
