MAGIO MG-321 Garment Steamer

SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the unit and keep it for the whole operation period. Use the unit for its intended purpose only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling of the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property. To avoid the risk of fire, electric shock and to prevent injury, observe the following safety measures:

The appliance is intended for use only in domestic aims. The unit is not intended for industrial and commercial use, and also for use in:
- kitchen area for the stuff of shops, offices and the other industrial places;
- farm houses;
- hotels, motels, rest homes and other similar places by residents.

The device is intended only for steaming of clothes, curtains and other products from natural and synthetic fabrics at home.

Use the appliance indoors only.

In order to avoid electric shock, it is forbidden to use the appliance in high humidity (for example, in the bathroom) or to operate the appliance with wet hands.

Avoid getting water or any liquid on cord, plug, or any part of the appliance.

Do not use the appliance near baths, sinks or other containers filled with water.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

If the appliance falls into the water, immediately disconnect it from the mains. In this case, do not immerse your hands in water. Before using the appliance further, it must be checked by a qualified technician.

Do not touch the plug or the body of the appliance with wet hands.

Do not use the unit near heat sources or open flame.

Protect the device from the effects of adverse climatic conditions, humidity and heat sources.

The temperature in the rooms where the device is used should be in the range of +5 °C to +40 °C.

Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure that the voltage specified on the unit corresponds to your home mains voltage.

The device can only be switched on to a grounded network. Do not use non-standard power supplies or other devices to connect.

To avoid overloading the electrical power supply, do not turn on several high-power devices at the same time.

Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but not cord.

Protect the appliance from drops and bumps.

Do not operate appliance with damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. If the appliance is damaged or broken, do not repair yourself.

If the appliance damaged please send the appliance to qualified service center for repair or service.

Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center from the contact address list given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.magio.ua.

For environment protection do not throw out the unit with usual household waste after its service life expiration; apply to the specialized center for further recycling.

Before putting the appliance for long-time storage or before cleaning. Plug it off an outlet, drain the remainder of the water and let the appliance cool down.

Store the appliance in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children and people with disabilities.

The appliance must only be shipped in its original packaging.

This product should not be disposed of together with other household waste throughout the EU. To reduce the possible damage to the environment or human health, return the product for recycling in order to reuse the material resources.

To return the appliance, please use a collection system for return or contact the seller from whom the product was purchased.

Do not cover the appliance with metal or cloth, it may cause overheating of the appliance.

Turn off the device when it is not in use, as well as when installing or removing nozzles, water spills or cleaning.

Install and remove the nozzles only after the appliance is fully cooled down.

It is forbidden to turn on the steamer with an empty water tank.

Always disconnect the appliance from the mains when filling the water tank.

Before filling the water tank, remove it from the appliance.

To avoid deformation of the water tank, it is forbidden to pour hot water into it.

It is forbidden to add perfumes, vinegar, starch, antiscale agents, ironing liquid and other substances to water.

Choose a place to operate the stove at a distance of at least 30 cm from the walls and furniture, otherwise the work of the steam generator can lead to deformation or discoloration.

Do not use the device near flammable substances.

During operation, the appliance produces a hot steam that can cause burns. Be careful when working, do not touch the nozzles and do not allow contact with hands or other parts of the body with hot steam.

It is forbidden to send the steamer to people, pets, the appliance itself or electrical outlets.

Avoid any contact of the operating device with skin, hair, face, eyes.
-
Do not touch the hot parts of the stove, nozzles, or avoid contact with steam or hot water.

Never damp clothing on a person.

During the ironing process, no openings for pouring water are allowed.

Do not cover the spray holes or allow foreign objects to come into contact with them.
-
Allow the appliance to cool completely before packaging it.

Keep the garment steamer with the cord in a place not accessible to children under the age of 8 and persons with physical or mental disabilities if it is under voltage or cooled.

In the water tank may be residues of water – this is a normal, as in the production of the appliance passed quality control.

The steamer should not be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage, or if the steamer is leaking.

When installing the steamer on a stand, make sure that the stand is installed on an unshakable surface.
SPHERE OF USE
The device is intended solely for household use in accordance with this instruction. The device is not intended for industrial use. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from improper or unforeseen use of this instruction manual. The garment steamer can be used for all types of fabrics and for smoothing the folds on the clothes. If you are in doubt about the use of a vaporizer for a particular type of fabric or clothing, refer to the label on the product. If there is no such information, try to evaporate the fabric from the back side. For steaming fabrics such as silk and corduroy, keep the garment steamer at a distance from the product. Use the brush nozzle to remove unnecessary wool and threads.
UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before switching on.
- Unpack the unit completely and remove any stickers and packaging materials that can prevent unit operation.
- Check the unit for damages, do not use it in case of damages.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Clean the holes on the soleplate so the dirt, perhaps caught in the holes during the manufacture of the appliance, could not stain the fabric.
- Before switching on the unit, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the body of the unit.
- Unreel the cord and plug into an outlet.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, first use a piece of unnecessary fabric, this will remove any impurities and odors that might have been left by the manufacturing process and to make sure the surface is clean enough.
OPERATION
- Make sure that the operating voltage of the appliance corresponds to the voltage of the network.
- Remove the water tank by holding the side buttons on it and pulling it forward.
- Pull down the cower of water filling and carefully fill the water tank with cold water. Do not exceed the mark “MAX”. Do not use hot water! It is better to use distilled water to extend the life of the appliance. Close the cower of water filling.
- Install the water tank back correctly and monitor the water level to prevent water shortages during use. Using the device without water in the tank is strictly forbidden!
- If it necessary, install the nozzle.
- Unscrew the power cord for the entire length and insert the power cord plug into the wall outlet.
- Press the on/off button. Wait until the LED indicator stops blinking. The device is warm and ready for operation.
- The steam mode is changed by pressing the on/off button again. The LED display will show alight corresponding to the selected steam intensity.
- Launch the first portion of the steam before starting work, as it may contain droplets of water.
- When finished, press and hold the on / off button until the LED display turns off.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
After about 30 minutes, when the device cools down, drain the water from the tank and remove the device for storage.
Note! Before filling water, please pull out the plug first.
Note! Do not use hot water, the water temperature should not be higher than +50 °C Attention! Do not add perfume, vinegar, magnetically treated water, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids, chemically descaled water or other chemicals as they may cause water spitting, brown staining or damage to your appliance.
Attention! Do not turn on the device without water.
Note! To refill the water tank unplug the unit.
Note! If there is no water in the running device, it automatically enters standby mode after 45 seconds. After 8 minutes, the device switches off automatically. This will help to avoid accidents and save energy.
USER MANUAL

Do not use your bare hand as a supporting surface when you steam.

You can wrinkle garments more easily if you spread the laundry properly after you have washed it. Hang the garments on hangers to dry them with fewer wrinkles.

When you are steaming, press the steamer head against the garment, and pull the sides of the garment with your other hand to stretch it.
-
Keep the steamer head a slight distance away from dresses with frills, ruffles, ruching or sequins.

For garments with buttons such as shirts, jackets and pants, close the first button to help straighten the fabric. To steam sleeves, start from the shoulder area and move the steamer head downwards. Steam while you pull the sleeve diagonally down with the other hand. For shirt pockets, move the steamer head upwards while pressing against the fabric.
Note! The appliance can be used for creating a natural look and for quick touch-ups. For garments with tough wrinkles and for a more formal look, it is recommended to use an iron instead.
Note! Use only distilled water for pour into the water tank. Do not fill the water tank beyond the MAX indication. -
The steaming process can create small wet spots in the garment. The garment may also be slightly damp due to the steam. After your session, leave your garment out to dry before you keep or wear it.

The brush attachment improves steam penetration to achieve faster and better steaming result on thick and heavy garment such as coat and jacket. Brush is to be used together with steam by pressing the steam trigger and slowly moving the bristles along the garments.
Note! Always unplug the steamer before you attach or detach the brush attachment. Be careful, the steamer head may still be hot. -
Always empty the water tank after use, to prevent scale build-up. Rinse the water tank to remove any deposits.

Wipe any deposits off the steamer head with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaning agent.
Warning! Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
AUTO SHUT OFF
This function turns on if the steam iron is unmoved for 8 minutes in vertical position. Auto-off function turns off as soon as you begin to steaming.
USE OF NOZZLES
It is recommended to use the nozzles when steaming delicate fabrics, such as silk, to reduce the risk of water getting into the fabric when steaming. Also, the nozzles can be used to clean clothes from lint, wool and dust. You can use the pres-nozzle for trousers to create arrows on trousers. Make sure that there is a clearance between the press and the steamer. Iron the trousers vertically so that the arrow turns out to be even and smooth.
Warning! Before installing the nozzle, make sure the appliance is turned off to avoid burns.
CLEAN AND CARE
- Unplug the appliance.
- Allow the device to cool down.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth/sponge.
- Never immerse the unit into water!
- Avoid moisture getting into parts of this appliance.
- Never use sharp or abrasive to clean the appliance.
STORAGE
- Unplug the unit.
- Clean the unit before taking the unit for storage.
- Empty and allow to drying out the water tank.
- Wind the power cord.
- Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
- Always keep the garmen steamer in an upright position.
