Safety precautions and warnings
Before using the device, read the operation instructions attentively and keep it for the entire period of use. Use the device only for its needed purpose as directed in this manual. Improper use of the device may result in damage to the device, injuring the user, or damage to property.

This appliance is intended for domestic use only. The device is not intended for industrial or commercial use or for use:
- at kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices, and other industrial premises;
- in farmhouses;
- by clients in hotels, motels, boarding houses, and other accommodations.

The device is intended only for household use on the premises. Commercial use and use of the device in production areas and working premises are forbidden.

Before plugging in the device, make sure that the voltage indicated on the device corresponds to the voltage of the power supply in the building.

The manufacturer assumes no responsibility in the event that this safety standard is not complied with.

The device can only be connected to an earthed network. Do not use non-standard power supplies or other connected devices.

Do not stretch, bend, or lengthen the power cord as this may result in its break.

During the operation of the appliance, the power cord must be unrolled to its full length.

Always preheat baking plates before starting to cook.

The temperature in rooms where the appliance is used must be in the range from 5 °C to + 40 °C.

To avoid electric shock, do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.

Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.

The appliance must not be left unattended when connected to power.

Avoid touching the metal parts as they become very hot.

If the appliance falls into the water, unplug it immediately. In this case, do not put your hands in the water. Before further use, the appliance must be checked by a qualified specialist.

This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible dangers. The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential dangers.

Do not repair or take apart the device by yourself. If any malfunctions occur, as well as after the device has fallen, unplug it from the outlet and contact the nearest (authorized) service center by the contact addresses indicated in the warranty card or on the website www.magio.ua.

To protect the environment, when the operating life of the oven came to the end, do not dispose of the device with household waste, but take it to a designated collection point for recycling.

Do not put the appliance in the dishwasher.

Store the appliance in a cool dry place out of the reach of children and people with disabilities.

The device should only be transported in its original packaging.

Surfaces with marking (page 22) heat up during use.
The appliance gets very hot. Avoid any contact with the top as well as the
sides of the appliance. Only hold by the handle. The danger of burning!
The appliance must always be positioned horizontally during use.
Before first use
After transportation or storing the device at a low temperature, keep it at room temperature for three hours at least.
- Remove the device from the package.
- Make sure that the operating voltage of the device corresponds to the main voltage.
- Clean the baking plates (5) with a damp cloth or sponge.
- Slightly grease the baking plates (5) with a little butter or cooking oil.
- Connect the sandwich maker to the power grid, and the red and green indicators (3)*, and (2)** will light up.
- Let the sandwich maker warm up for a few minutes to get rid of the “new” smell.
*Red indicator – the device is connected to the network.
**Green indicator – when the light goes out, the heating elements are hot enough and the device is ready for use.
Note:
- The first time you turn the appliance on, there are may occur a specific smell from a new appliance – do not worry, it is normal.
- The green ready indicator will turn on and off during the entire cooking time, indicating that the appliance has reached the maximum temperature.
Operation
- Insert the plug into the socket. The red and green indicators (3,2) will light up.
- Prepare the ingredients for the sandwiches. For each sandwich, you need 2 slices of bread and filling.
- As soon as the appliance has heated up, the green light turns off.
- Open the appliance at the catch (6).
- Grease heating panels with a small amount of oil.
- Put all the ingredients on the heating panels (5).
- Slowly and gently press the top heating panel to the bottom heating panel so that they close tightly.
- After the sandwiches are ready (about 2-3 minutes), open the sandwich maker and remove the food with a wooden or plastic spatula.
- If you want to make more sandwiches, wait for the heating surfaces to heat up.
- When the green light turns off, you can prepare the sandwiches again according to the instructions above.
- After finishing making the sandwiches, unplug the power plug. Allow the device to cool completely.
- Clean the sandwich maker.
Note:
- Do not use sharp or metal objects to remove the sandwiches (knife, metal spatula), as they can damage the coating of the device.
- Do not put too much filling in the sandwich, as the slices of bread will be difficult to squeeze or the filling will leak out. Never close the appliance with excessive force.
- The preparation time for sandwiches depends on the thickness of the bread slices and the type of bread.
Attention! Take out sandwiches immediately after cooking. Leaving
sandwiches for too long in the switched-on device may cause a fire.
When making sandwiches do not use aluminum foil, paper packaging, or other
objects, as they can lead to a fire.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Unplug the unit.
- Let the unit cool down completely.
- Wipe the body with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or aggressive
liquids such as alcohol, petrol, or acetone to clean the appliance.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid, rinse it under running water or
place it in the dishwasher.
Storage
- Before storing the device for long-term storage, clean it and dry it thoroughly.
- Store the device in a cool dry place out of reach of children and people with disabilities.
- It is advisable to store the device in its original packaging.
