Safety precautions and warnings

Before using the device, read the operating instructions attentively and keep it for the entire period of use. Use the device only for its needed purpose as directed in this manual. Improper use of the device may result in damage to the device, injuring the user or damage the property.

• This appliance is intended for domestic use only. The device is not intended for industrial or commercial use or for use:
  – at kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices and other industrial premises;
  – in farm houses;
  – by clients in hotels, motels, boarding houses and other accommodations.

• The device is intended only for household use in premises. Commercial use and use of the device in production areas and working premises is forbidden.

• Before plugging in the device, make sure that the voltage indicated on the device corresponds to the voltage of the power supply in the building.

• The manufacturer assumes no responsibility in the event that this safety standard is not complied with.

• The device can only be connected to an earthed network. Do not use non-standard power supplies or other connection devices.

• Before using an extension cord, make sure that it is grounded.

• Avoid the water spilling or any other liquid on the device, power cord and plug.

• Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.

• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug or power cord is damaged, if the appliance operates intermittently, or after the appliance has been fallen.

Before first use

After transportation or storing the device at a low temperature, keep it at room temperature for three hours at least.

1. Unpack the unit completely and remove any stickers that can prevent unit operation.
2. Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case of damages.
3. Before switching the unit on, make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
4. Wash the flask, filter, all removable parts with water and a neutral detergent, rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the body with the clean, damp cloth.
5. Dry all parts of the appliance and carry out a full brewing cycle in accordance with the section «Brewing coffee» without filling coffee in the filter.

Brewing coffee

The ready coffee drink is made by one-time passing of hot water through a layer of ground coffee in the filter.

1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
2. Open the lid of the water tank. Fill the tank with cold water to the required level, but not higher than the «5» mark, which is indicated on the water tank.

4. Measure the required amount of ground coffee, put it in the filter and close the lid.
5. Place the flask on the platform.
6. After making sure that the mains parameters match the data indicated on the device, insert the plug of the power cord into an will start working.
7. When all the water has passed through the filter, turn off the coffee maker by setting the power switch to the «0» position (off).
8. To keep the coffee hot, leave the flask in place and do not turn off the coffee maker with the switch.

⚠ When there is no need to heat the flask, be sure to turn off the coffee maker by moving the switch to the «0» position (off).
⚠There will be less finished coffee, since ground coffee absorbs part of the water.
⚠Do not leave an empty coffee flask on warming platform, otherwise the glass may crack.
⚠During brewing, do not open the lid of the water tank or slide the flask.
⚠The appliance is intended only for preparing a drink from ground coffee!

Cleaning and maintenance

1. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outer surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.
3. Clean the separate parts in warm water with some washing-up liquid, dry thoroughly.
4. Do not place the appliance in the dishwasher.

⚠Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord, the power plug into water or other liquids.

⚠Do not use solvents and abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device.

Storage

1. Before storing the device for long-term storage, clean it and dry it thoroughly.
2. Store the device in a cool dry place out of reach of children and people with disabilities.
