Safety precautions and warnings

Before use, please read this user’s manual carefully and keep it for the entire period of use. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose, as specified in this manual. Improper use of the appliance may lead to its breakdown, causing harm to the user or their property.

• The appliance is intended for domestic use only. The appliance is not intended for industrial or commercial use, as well as for use:
  • in kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices and other production facilities
  • in farmhouses
  • by clients in hotels, motels, boarding houses, and other similar places of residence
• Use the appliance indoors only.
• Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• The temperature in rooms where the appliance is used must be in the range from 5 °C to + 40 °C.
• Do not leave children unattended near appliances.
• This appliance should not be used by persons (as well as young children) with reduced physical or mental abilities, or lack of experience or knowledge.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over provided they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the resulting risk. • It is advisable to take measurement at the same time of the day.
• Measured result could be misleading after intensive exercise, excessive dieting or under extreme dehydration condition.
• Children under 10 or adult over 100 can only use the device under normal weighing mode.
• People with the following conditions should not use the device: Pregnant women, Those with symptom of edema, or on dialysis treatment.
• The Fat% Hydration% content evaluated by the Fat Monitor Scale is only for reference (not for medical purpose). If your Fat% Hydration% content is over/below normal level, please consult your doctor for more advice.

Individuals with medical implants should use the scale only for weighing, without utilizing the body parameter measurement function. An electrical signal may interfere with the implant’s functionality.

Main functions

This device is specially designed to measure body fat and hydration levels. It helps track daily changes in fat, hydration, and weight, providing information for comparison. Based on the analysis of factors such as height, weight, age, etc., it determines your daily calorie needs and aids in weight control.

Unpacking and assembly
After transporting or storing the appliance at a low temperature, keep it at room temperature for at least three hours.

1. Check the integrity of the appliance; if damaged, do not use the appliance.
2. Remove any stickers and packing materials that interfere with the operation of the appliance.

Before first use

1. Wipe the casing with a damp cloth.
2. Insert the batteries.

Battery installation and replacement

1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries, observing the polarity.
3. Place the battery compartment cover and make sure it is securely fastened.

Installing the application

With the application, you can not only measure your body parameters but also track the history of your measurements.
Open the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone and download the MovingLife app. For convenience, you can use the QR code:

Launch the MovingLife app and register your profile, providing necessary details (height, age, gender) for accurate determination of the percentage of water and fat mass in the body.

Activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone, step on the scale to turn it on (the display backlight should light up), search for the scale on your smartphone, and establish a connection.
The application may receive periodic updates; follow the instructions within the app. The same scale can be connected to multiple profiles.

Operating procedure

Place the scale on a flat, even, and hard surface. Gently step onto the scale platform to turn it on. When the display shows «0.0», stand on the scale barefoot and remain still while your weight and body fat and water content are determined. Ankles, knees, and thighs should not touch each other. Within 2 seconds, your weight will be displayed on the screen. Additionally, the weight will be shown in the smartphone app. Measurement results will be stored in the app’s history.
Step off the scale, and it will turn off automatically.

Do not get wet on the scales or not wet surfaces! You can slip and get injured!
Measurement results are approximate and cannot be the basis for a medical conclusion. Accurate results can only be obtained by undergoing a comprehensive examination at a medical institution. The scales are not intended for weighing children under 10 years of age and pregnant women.

Selecting units of measure
Please set the weight unit by APP. If unavailable, you can press UNIT button on back of scale to convert the weight unit.

Indicators

Low level of power cells. Please replace the batteries!
Indicates an overload (over 150 kg).
An error occurred, please try again to obtain the correct result.

Clean and care

1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Wipe the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth and wipe dry.

Warning!

• Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
• Don’t immerse the unit into water.
• Don’t use sharp or abrasive to clean the appliance.

Storage

1. Before taking the device for long-term storage, clean the device and remove the batteries.
2. Keep the appliance in a cool dry place out of reach of children and people with disabilities.
3. Make sure there are no objects on the scales during storage.
