Safety precautions and warnings Before use, please read this user’s manual carefully and keep it for the entire period of use. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose, as specified in this manual. Improper use of the appliance may lead to its breakdown, causing harm to the user or their property.

• The appliance is intended for domestic use only. The appliance is not intended for industrial or commercial use, as well as for use: – in kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices, and other production facilities – in farmhouses – by clients in hotels, motels, boarding houses, and other similar places of residence
• Use the appliance indoors only.
• Do not touch the appliance body, power cord, and power plug with wet hands.
• Do not spill water or any liquid on the appliance, its power cord, and plug.
• Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• If the appliance falls into the water, unplug it immediately. In this case, do not put your hands in the water. Before further use, the appliance must be checked by a qualified specialist
• The temperature in rooms where the appliance is used must be in the range from +5 °C to +40 °C.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the voltage indicated on the appliance matches the voltage of the mains supply in your house.
• Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
• Do not stretch, bend, or lengthen the power cord as this may result in its break.
• During the operation of the appliance, the power cord must be unrolled to its full length.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a specialist
• Unplug the appliance from the mains when you do not use it or before it’s cleaned. When unplugging the appliance, do not pull on the power cord but pull directly on the plug.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug or power cord is damaged, if the appliance operates intermittently, or after the appliance has been dropped.
• Place the appliance on a fiat dry and stable surface.
• The appliance must not be left unattended when connected to power.
• Do regular cleaning of the appliance.
• Do not leave children unattended near electrical appliances.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including minors) with reduced physical or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over provided they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the resulting risk This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance can make children older than 8 years under supervision. The appliance and its cord must be kept out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

• Use only the accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.
• Protect the appliance from drops and bumps.
• Do not repair the appliance yourself. Do not disassemble the appliance yourself, if any malfunctions occur, or after the appliance has been dropped, unplug the appliance and contact the nearest (authorized) service center at the contact addresses specified in the warranty card and at www.magio.ua. 
• To protect the environment at the end of its service life, do not dispose of the appliance with household waste, but take it to a specialized recycling center for further disposal.
• The unit should only be transported in its original packaging.
• Do not immerse the base in water or other liquids.
• Do not place the device in the dishwasher.
• Do not operate the device without the water.

Warning!

• Make sure the kettle is switched off before removing it from the base.
• Do not fill the kettle below the MIN mark and above the MAX mark. » Keep the appliance dry.
• Do not open the lid while the water is boiling. » The kettle should only be used with the base that comes with it.

Sphere of use
The electric kettle is intended for heating water.
Unpacking and assembly
After transporting or storing the appliance at a low temperature, keep it at room temperature for at least three hours.

1. Check the integrity of the appliance; if damaged, do not use the appliance.
2. Remove any stickers and packing materials that interfere with the operation of the appliance.

Before using it for the first time

1. Remove the kettle from the base.
2. Press the cover open button.
3. Fill the kettle with water up to the MAX mark.
4. Close the lid by pressing it until you hear a click.
5. Place the kettle on the base.
6. Connect the unit to the power outlet.
7. Set the on/off button to position (I) by pressing it.
8. Wait for the water to boil and the kettle will automatically turn off.
9. Drain the water and repeat the above procedure two more times.

Operating procedure

1. Remove the kettle from the base.
2. Press the cover open button.
3. Fill the kettle with water no lower than the MIN mark and no higher than the MAX mark.
4. Close the lid by pressing it until you hear a click.
5. Place the kettle on the base.
6. Connect the unit to the power outlet.
7. Set the on/off button to position (I) by pressing it.
8. Wait for the water to boil and the kettle will automatically turn off.

Do not switch on the appliance without water.
Advice:
» To avoid bringing the water to a boil, you can turn off the appliance at any time by pressing the on/off button and setting it to position

Clean and care

1. Unplug the appliance, drain the water and let it cool down.
2. Wipe the body with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe them dry.

Warning!

• Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
• Do not move the appliance in any liquid, wash it under a water jet or place in a dishwasher.

Descaling

Method 1

1. Fill the kettle up to the MAX mark with a 2:1 mixture of water and vinegar.
2. Turn on the appliance and wait until the mixture boils and the appliance switches off automatically.
3. Leave the mixture in the kettle for >7 hours.
4. Drain the mixture and fill the kettle with clean water.
5. Turn the appliance on and bring the water to a boil.
6. Drain the water.

Method 2

1. Fill the kettle with water up to the MAX mark.
2. Turn on the device, wait until the mixture boils and the device turns off automatically.
3. Add 25-50 g of citric acid.
4. After 15 minutes, turn on the device again, wait until the mixture boils and the device turns off automatically.
5. Drain the mixture and fill the pitcher with clean water.
6. Turn on the appliance and bring the water to a boil.
7. Drain the water.

Note: The scale formed inside the kettle affects the taste of water, and also interferes with the heat exchange between the water and the heating element, which can cause overheating and damage to the appliance.

Storage

1. Unplug the unit.
2. Clean it and thoroughly dry the unit before taking the unit for storage.
3. Wind the power cord.
4. Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
