CHARGING
Your GP-DuraCUBE-500 has two charging ports on the back of the unit. One is for standard wall charging as well as charging via solar panel (17). The other is for charging via a cigarette lighter (sold separately) (19)
AC CABLE
The AC wall adapter is delivered in two pieces. Connect the two pieces by
plugging the cable into the box.
Using the AC Wall Charger, plug your DuraCUBE into a wall outlet. This unit is
charging when the battery segments in the LED display are blinking. It is
fully charged when the battery segments on the LED display are solid. It takes
approximately 10 hours to recharge the GP-DuraCUBE-500 from 1 % to full
NOTE: Please only use the wall charger provided in the box. Using a
different charger may damage internal components and void your warranty.
SOLAR CHARGING
The GP-?uraCUBE-500 can support up to 120-watts of incoming solar power. When
connecting to solar, connect the panel to the DC charging port on the back
(17), and place your panel in the sun. For maximum solar charging, it is
recommended to move your solar panel throughout the day to track the sun’s
exposure.
Based on using the maximum panel input of 120-watts, the GP-DuraCUBE-500 may
take approximately 10 hours of full sun to recharge from 1 % to 100%.
NOTE: There is an internal Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar
controller built into the GP-DuraCUBE-500. It is therefore recommended to
charge the DuraCUBE with a solar panel that DOES NOT have an onboard solar
controller, such as the Go Power! Dura lite 100 watt expansion kit (GP-
DURALITE-1 00E).
If unsure of your solar panel components, please get in touch with your solar
panel manufacturer.
