Choosing the food to be sliced

  • This appliance can be used to cut raw vegetables and fruits into spirals of different forms and widths.
  • Do only process hard, round, straight and longish grown vegetables/fruits.
  • Before slicing, wash the food, peel it if necessary and trim it to a round, straight (cylindrical) form. Pay attention to have a flat surface where the food will touch the pusher.
  • The straighter and evener the surfaces of the vegetables/fruits are, the better you can process them with the appliance.
  • In order to process food with a diameter larger than 6 cm, cut off the sides evenly and trim it into a cylindrical, round form.

Correct positioning and pushing of the food

Position the food to be cut with the hard end (mostly the stem) in the centre of the pusher and press firmly. This is important in order to be able to apply an even pressure on the food.

Only apply a gentle and even pressure to the pusher to move the food downwards.
