Before operation
- Place Lukas in an upright position on a stable, level surface.
- Ensure that the dehumidifier is at a safe distance to achieve optimal airflow. Lukas can be placed as illustrated on A (on the floor) and B (mounted on the wall), at least 1 meter from the roof. There must be 2 meters free space from the front of Lukas.
- Note that the voltage supplying the unit must conform to the unit’s value and the socket must be grounded.
- Turn on the power and start the machine according to the instructions below.
Placing the unit on the floor
The unit includes four feet. Align the foot to the mounting hole of the
dehumidifier chassis and turn it in a clockwise direction, picture 1.
IMPORTANT!
Do not flip the unit during installation! If the unit has been flipped always
wait an hour before use.
Connect the drain pipe, and connect the power cord according to the wiring diagram
- A: Power Cord Entry

Mounting the unit on the wall
Step 1
The concrete foundation of the selected wall should be firm.
Mount the bracket (picture 2) to the wall by attaching the five (included) screws to the holes in the wall.

Place the pad A (picture 3) on the wall-mounting holes behind the unit.
Step 3
Hang the unit (picture 4 – 5) from the hanging strip on the back and on the
wall-fastened bracket. Make sure the pads are resting against the wall,
picture 5 – A.

Connect the drain pipe, and connect the power cord according to the wiring
diagram

Installation of extension cord and extra control panel
The dehumidifier comes with an extra control panel with a corresponding
extension cord, so you can install the extra control panel in a technical room
or similar, where others do not have access to manipulate the dehumidifier’s
settings.

Switching the unit on/off
Connect the power supply and press the on/off button (A) once to turn on the
device.
Temperature display
Press the arrow keys A and B simultaneously for five seconds to switch between
Celsius (C) and fahrenheit (F)
Working Mode
Lukas can work in “Smart mode” (B) and “Silence mode” (C). The working
capacity in “Smart mode” is up to ~100% and in “Silence mode” capacity is up
to ~80%. By default, Lukas is set to work in “Smart mode”. Pressing A will
change between “Smart mode” and “Silence mode”.
Dehumidifier function
The humidity setting range is between 30% and 95%. Lukas is by default set to
70%. Press A or B to set the humidity percentage. The humidity setting range
is between 30% and 95%. Lukas is by default set to 70%.
Timer settings
The device can be set to turn off or turn on with the timer.
Timer – turning on settings
When the dehumidifier is on or off, press A to enter the timer setting. This
will light up B and C will start flashing. Now press D or E to adjust the hour
setting. Next, press A to set the minute and adjust with D or E. Save the
setting by pressing A three times. Observe that C stops flashing and keeps
lighted instead. By not pressing D or E the timer is cancelled.
Timer – turning off setting
When the dehumidifier is on or off, press A to enter the timer setting. This
will light up B and C will start flashing. Press A two times for the timer
offsetting. F will now flash instead. Now press D or E to adjust the hour
setting. Next, press A to set the minute and adjust with D or E. Save the
setting by pressing A. Observe that F stops flashing and keeps lighted
instead. By not pressing D or E the timer is cancelled.
Timer – turning on & turning off settings
When the dehumidifier is on or off, press A to enter the timer setting. This
will light up B and C will start flashing (this starts the turn-on setting).
Now press D or E to adjust the hour setting. Next, press A to set the minute
and adjust with D or E. Press A, and F will start flashing (this starts the
turn-off setting). Now press D or E to adjust the hour setting. Next, press A
to set the minute and adjust with D or E. Save the settings by pressing A.
Observe that C and F keeps lighted.
Cancelling the timer
Press A to enter the timer setting. Press A again, this will cancel the turn-
on setting. Press A once gain, this will enter the turn-off setting and lastly
press A for canceling the turn-off settings.
Cleaning
When the appliance is used regularly, the filter can become clogged with dust and particles. Therefore, the filter should be cleaned at least every two weeks. Follow these steps:
- Turn off the unit and unplug it before cleaning.
- Clean the cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. If the unit is very dirty, use a mild detergent. Wipe the dehumidifier with a slightly damp cloth. Never spray water on the unit.
- Remove the filter (air inlet in the bottom), and clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water no hotter than 40°C.
Storage
If the unit will not be used for an extended period, do the following:
- Unplug the unit.
- Clean the air filter with a vacuum cleaner.
- Make sure the device is in perfect condition so that it is safe to use again after a long storage period.
- Store the unit in appropriate packaging.
- Store the unit in a dust-free place and out of direct sunlight. It is recommended to cover it with a piece of plastic.

Account Registration
- Agree to the “Privacy Policy”.
- Press “Register”.
- Registration by mobile phone number or E-mail.
- Enter the authentication code sent to you by E-mail or SMS.
- Set a login password.

App Connection
Please make sure your mobile phone is connected to the home Wi-Fi configured to 2.4GHz. Additionally, Bluetooth must be enabled on your mobile phone.-
a) Wi-Fi connection:
After turning on the unit, press the start button for 3 seconds. The Wi-Fi indicator will be flashing and the unit will be ready to connect. -
b) Add Device
Press “Add device” and follow the instructions on the app to finish the connection. The Wi-Fi indicator will stop flashing on the unit once the connection has succeeded.
- Press “Add Device”. The app will now start scanning for devices.
- When your device shows up press on it.
- Press “Confirm …”.
- Enter the correct information and press “OK”.
- Press “Allow…”.
- The app is connecting.
- Press “Completed”.

c) Connection Failure
If the connection fails, please make sure your network name and password are correct. Also make sure your router, mobile phone, and device are as close as possible. -
d) Wi-Fi Reconnection
If the Wi-Fi password or network changes configuration it is necessary to reconnect: Press the start button for 10 seconds. The Wi-Fi indicator will now start to flash slowly for 60 seconds and the Wi-Fi indicator will be off. The original connection will be deleted. Restart a new connection as shown above, “App Connection”.

Share the unit with others
You can share the control of the unit by having others install and register to the app. As an administrator, you can add users with the following procedure: -

Limited warranty
- We guarantee that all parts are free of defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers only material or manufacturing defects that prevent the product from being able to be installed or operated in a normal way. Defective parts will be replaced or repaired.
- The warranty does not cover transportation damage, any use other than what is intended, damage caused by incorrect assembly or improper use, damage caused by impact or other error, or by improper storage.
- The warranty becomes void if the user modifies the product.
- The warranty does not include product-related damage, property damage, or general operational loss.

This warranty does not cover failure or malfunction as a result of the following:
- Lack of proper installation, operation, or maintenance of the unit by our published “User’s Guide” supplied with the unit.
- The workmanship of any installation of the unit.
- Misuse, alteration, accident, fire, flood, lightning strike, rodents, insects, negligence, or unforeseen events.
- Use of non-factory authorized parts or accessories in conjunction with the product.

- This warranty is instead of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and saleability.
