Introduction

Set Up Your Camera

Download

Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code below .

Connect it to the App

  1. Sign up an App account, go to the App homepage, tap Add Device, and select the smart camera(Wi-Fi).

Please follow the prompts of the App to allow relevant permissions, otherwise it will affect the addition and use of the device.

  1. Press and hold the power button for 3s until the status LED is slow blinking red or heard “Waiting to receive the wireless configuration”

Reset the device
If the SSID of your home Wifi have been changed, you need to reconfigure the network. Please hold the reset button for 5-6 seconds until you heard “reset successfully”, then take the prompts to add the device again

Please choose a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, the camera does not support the 5GHz Wi-Fi.

  1. Please click Next, select a stable network and enter a password. The camera of the device scans the QR code generated by the mobile phone, keeps a distance of 15 to 20cm and does not move until the sound of” Di ” is heard, and finally follows the steps on the App to complete the addition.

When adding devices, please make the camera and mobile phone connect to a same Wi-Fi router.

Mount Your Camera

Select a location

The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Choose a spot where you can get the desired view.
Make sure to pick a place with in range of your home network. Please try streaming video before you mount your camera.
We recommend hanging it 2.Sm (8.2 ft) above the ground and maintaining an angle of about 25 degrees from the horizontal ground.

To Mount The Camera On The Wall

Step 1 Align the mounting plate and mark the four circles where the holes need to be drilled.

Step 2 Drill four holes above the four marked circles.

Step 3 Insert four anchors into the holes and use the screws to affix the bracket over the anchors.

Step 4

Align the bottom of the camera with the mounting bracket to complete the installation.

To Mount The Camera On The Ceiling

Please follow the steps 1-6 to secure the camera onto the ceiling.

How to remove Your Camera:

Hold the camera body, and then directly take off the camera from the mounting bracket.

Siren function

After the alarm function is turned on in the App, the camera will sound an audible alarm after detecting an event. If you do not need it, you can turn off this function in the App.

App device settings

When the device parameters are set in the App, they will only take effect after the device goes to sleep and wakes up next time. For example, you turn on the Siren function in the App settings, which can only be turned on after the device wakes up next time.

CAUTION

Avoid replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard.
Avoid disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting off a battery, that can result in an explosion.
Do not leave a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas; Do not leave a battery subjected to the extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
