  • Read all instructions carefully before using this product.
  • This product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Mind your children and DO NOT let children play with this product.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Check the voltage indicated on the rating label before using this product.
  • This product is for domestic indoor use only.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
  • Unplug this product from the power source before cleaning and maintenance.
  • Contact German Pool authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this product.
  • DO NOT look directly at UVC light source as it may be damaging to the eyes.

WARNING!

  • To avoid fire, electric shock and injury, you must meet the following requirements. Otherwise, please follow the respective national and local electricity regulations.
  • DO NOT open the top cover and look directly at the UVC lamp, as it may be damaging to your eyes.
    1. Children, the elderly and people with disabilities or without experience should be looked after by a responsible person when using this product. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product as a toy.
    2. Please use a separate outlet according to the current /voltage of the product.
    DO NOT use a multi-purpose socket for simultaneous use with other electrical devices.
    3. If the fan does not work due to a damaged power cord, turn off the power and ask a qualified person for repair.
    Warnings & Safety Precautions
    4. DO NOT move the fan when you pull the plug out of the socket.
    5. DO NOT pull out the plug by the cable. Pull out the plug and do not grip the cable.
    6. DO NOT operate the product with a damaged cable or connector. Please contact Customer Service and Repair Center to replace or repair the cable if the cable is damaged.
    7. DO NOT stretch or energize the cable. Keep the cable away from the heat source.
    8. DO NOT run the cable under carpets, DO NOT cover it with carpets or similar covers. Route the cable outside the traffic area to avoid tripping the cable.
    9. Turn off all controls before pulling the plug and pull the plug out of the socket if you are not going to use the product for a long time.
    10. DO NOT place any objects on the air inlet or outlet. Make sure that the ventilation openings are free of dust, lint, hair and other obstacles that could impair the air flow.
    11. The product should be positioned on a horizontal surface, free from any heat sources and corrosive or wet environment. A 150 mm radial distance should be kept all around the product to ensure clear and good air passage.
    12. DO NOT use the fan outdoors or on a wet surface.
    13. DO NOT immerse the fan, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids to avoid danger. The use of an extension cord is not recommended unless it has been tested by a qualified person.
    14. DO NOT use an air cleaner or similar product right next to the fan.
    15. DO NOT use any cleaning agents or lubricants for this fan and pull out the power plug before cleaning, transporting and servicing the device.

Note Before Use

Installation

  • Always use the product on a flat surface. DO NOT place the product on an unstable surface, such as an inclined or soft surface, to avoid damage or malfunction caused by the product tipping over.
  • DO NOT block the air inlet when using the product. Place away from curtains to avoid objects blocking the air inlet and causing the product to malfunction.
  • DO NOT place any object within 30 cm of the air outlet, otherwise the air volume will be impaired.

Operation Instructions

Air Duct Angle Setting
Before adjusting the air duct angle, make sure the product is turned off. Hold product body with one hand and set the air duct 15° forward or backward.
Switch ON and OFF

  1. Connect to power source, and product will enter into Standby Mode.
  2. Press On/Off , the buzzer will beep once, and product will start to operate.
  3. To turn off the product, long-press 2 seconds, the buzzer will beep twice, and product will stop operating.

LED Display Panel

ICON DESCRIPTION
On/Off Button

• When product is turned off, long-press 5 seconds to turn on WiFi connection
• Press   to turn product on.
• Press repeatedly to adjust air volume.
• Long-press  1 second to turn Oscillation on and off.
• Long-press 2 seconds to turn off product.
| Filter Replacement Alert Indicator After a total of 720 hours of operation, will light up, indicating the filter needs to be replaced. After the filter has been replaced, long-press on the Remote Control for 5  will turn off, and product will seconds, enter a new 720 hour cycle.
| UVC Disinfection Indicator When UVC Disinfection Function is turned on via the Remote Control, will light up. UVC will automatically turn off after 1 hour.
| Plasma Purification Indicator
When Plasma Purification Function is turned on via the Remote Control, will light up.
| Wind Speed / Timer Display
This indicates the current wind speed or timer.

Remote Control

  1. HIGH WIND MODE
  2. OSCILLATION
  3. SLEEP MODE
  4. UVC DISINFECTION
  5. PLASMA PURIFICATION
  6. ON/OFF
  7. TIMER
  8. SPEED

NOTE:
The Remote Control should be pointed directly at the Remote Control Signal Receiver on the Display Panel to maximize remote control reception.

ATTENTION:
The following phenomena may occur during operation:

  1. This product may respond to the remote control of other devices.
  2. If you use the remote control of this product, other devices may respond. This is due to overlapping frequencies of the Remote Control. There is no quality problem in the product itself. To avoid interference, keep the Remote Control away from other electrical devices during operation.
BUTTON FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

| ON/OFF| •  In Standby Mode, press once to turn on product.
•  When product is operating, press once and product will turn off and return to Standby Mode.
UVC| UVC DISINFECTION| •   Press once to turn on UVC Disinfection Function.
•   Press again to turn off UVC Disinfection Function (Otherwise, UVC Disinfection Function will automatically turn off after operating for 1 hr).

Plasma

| PLASMA PURIFICATION| • Press once to turn on Plasma Purification Function.
• Press again to turn off Plasma Purification Function.
| SLEEP MODE| • Press once to enter Sleep Mode; LED Display will show “LL”, and wind speed will decrease to the lowest level.
• Press again to exit Sleep Mode.
| HIGH WIND MODE| • Press once to enter High Wind Mode; LED Display will show “HH”, and wind speed will increase to the highest level.
• Press again to exit High Wind Mode.
| OSCILLATION| •  Press once to turn on Oscillation Function, oscillation angle is 80°±5°.
•   Press again to turn off Oscillation Function.
| TIMER| • Press once to set Countdown To Turn Off Time (1-8 hr). When countdown completes, the product will automatically stop operating.
• If user wishes to restart product, please press      .
| SPEED| • Press + to increase wind speed; press – to decrease wind speed.
• This product is equipped with 9 levels of wind speeds.

Connecting The Product To WiFi
This product can be controlled via smartphone with German Pool Smart Control APP.
Note:
To connect the product to WiFi, please use WiFi with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, does not work with WiFi with a frequency of 5.0 GHz.
A. How To Set Up The APP

  1. Connect your phone to 2.4 GHz WiFi then scan the QR Code below, or search “German Pool Smart Control in App Store or Google Play to download and install the APP.

B. Change The Language Apple IOS System

  1. Search “Smart Control” in Settings.

  2. Click “Preferred Language”.

  3. Select Traditional Chinese or English in the “Suggested Languages” column (Note: if user select “Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong)”, app will display in English).

Android System
App will appear in your preset phone language. If you need to change APP language, you need to change the system language in your phone settings.
C. Register Your Account

  1. Open the APP,click “Agree” on “User Agreement and Privacy Policy”.
  2. Click “Sign Up” to register your account.
  3. Enter your email address, tick “I agree Privacy Policy and User Agreement”, then click “Get Verification Code”.
  4. Enter one-time verification code from your email.
  5. Set up your password then click “Done”.

D. Pairing Sequence
Method 1: Auto Pairing

  1. Long-press the product’s On/Off Key for 5 seconds until Display blinks ”F”.
  2. Click “+” on the upper right corner of the APP homepage, then click “Add Device”.
  3. Before pairing, user must allow the App to access your Bluetooth. Tap on “Turn on Bluetooth” (if Bluetooth is already on, ignore this step).
  4. Tap “Go To Set” (if Bluetooth is already on, ignore this step).
  5. Turn on Bluetooth (if Bluetooth is already on, ignore this step).
  6. APP will show “Searching for nearby devices…”.
  7. APP will show “Discovering devices…”, click “Add”.
  8. Click “+” on the right of product name.
  9. it is recommended to allow the APP to access your location. Tap “Set Now” (if Location is already on, ignore this step).
  10. Tap “Allow While Using App” (if Location is already on, ignore this step).
  11. Select WiFi name and enter your WiFi password, then click “Next”.
  12. APP will show ”Being Added”, the product and APP will automatically pair up.
  13. When pairing is completed, APP will show “Added successfully”. Click “Done” to return to homepage.

WARNING!
If Bluetooth is turned off or App is not permitted to access Bluetooth, the product cannot be paired.
(Note: Even if Bluetooth is turned on, it does not mean the APP is allowed to access your Bluetooth.)
Note:

  • The product can only be paired to one account at a time. If another user pairs their smartphone to the product, the previous account will lose their control of the product.
  • User who has already been paired can share their control rights with other users. For details, see “E. Sharing Control”.

Note:
If APP cannot find the product, or during Pairing Sequence, if APP shows an exclamation mark icon, it means pairing is unsuccessful. Please use method 2 below for pairing.
Method 2: Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Click “+” on the upper right corner of the APP homepage, then click “Add Device”.
  2. In the “Add Manually “ column, find the product model that needs to be paired, and click the product to pair.
  3. Follow the instructions on the APP to pair.
  4. Click “+” on the right of product name.
  5. Select WiFi name and enter your WiFi password, then click “Next”.
  6. When pairing is completed, APP will show “Added successfully”. Click “Done” to return to homepage.

WARNING!
If Bluetooth is turned off or App is not permitted to access Bluetooth, the product cannot be paired.
(Note: Even if Bluetooth is turned on, it does not mean the APP is allowed to access your Bluetooth.)
E. Sharing Control

  1. On the product’s homepage, click “ ” on the upper right corner.
  2. Click “Share Device” under “Others”.
  3. Click “Add Sharing”.
  4. Set the number of users with whom you wish to share control, then click “Share with the Account Smart Control”.
  5. Enter that account’s registered email address, then click “Done” on the upper right corner.
  6. Repeat step 3-5 to share with more accounts.

Note:
On the “Share Device” page, you can add or delete other accounts’ control rights.
Controlling The Product With The APP

Cleaning & Maintenance

Battery Replacement

  1. To open the battery cover at the bottom of the Remote Control, press the buckle on the battery cover inward and pull it out.
  2. Identify the polarity of the battery, and insert the battery into the battery slot.
  3. Reinsert the battery cover into the bottom of the Remote Contro l .

ATTENTION:

  1. If Remote Control will not be used for a prolonged period of time, please remove the battery.
  2. This battery is not rechargeable. DO NOT recharge the battery.
  3. The Remote Control and battery are not toys. Please keep them out of children’s reach.
  4. If accidentally swallow battery, please seek medical attention immediately.

WARNING!
Before cleaning and maintenance work, unplug the product from the socket.

WARNING!

  • DO NOT wash HEPA filter with water or any liquid. DO NOT immerse HEPA filter in water.
  • DO NOT place this product and HEPA Filter in humid area that the filter is moist and wet condition.

Filter Replacement
This product is equipped with an air-cleaning filter. Please install the air filter into the product before use, so that the air can be cleaned. Under normal usage, the filter can last for 3 to 6 months. Please change filter when the Filter Replacement Alert Indicator on the Display Panel lights up.

Product Surface

  • When cleaning the product, DO NOT wet or splash water on the product, to avoid water entering inside and causing malfunction.
  • DO NOT use banana oil, benzine, alcohol, bleach or metal objects to wipe the surface of the product, which may damage the surface or cause discoloration.
  • Use soft dry cloth to lightly wipe the surface of the product.
  • If the surface is very dirty, use a soft cloth and diluted mild detergent to clean, then wipe dry with a soft dry cloth.

Air Inlet & Air Outlet
Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to regularly clean off any dust accumulated on the Air Inlet and Outlet. DO NOT let dust build up as too much dust will reduce the efficiency of the product.

Remote Control
Gently wipe the surface of the Remote Control with a soft dry cloth. If the Remote Control will not be used for a prolonged period of time, please remove the battery inside to avoid battery consumption.

Power Plug
Use soft dry cloth to clean the power plug.

Storage

  • After cleaning the product, put in plastic bag and store away.
  • Please avoid storing in a place with vibration (car trunk) or a place heated or cooled by another appliance.
  • Please avoid placing it in direct sunlight or in a hot and humid environment.
  • Please keep this product out of reach of young children.

  • Before maintenance work, turn off the product and unplug product from power source.
  • This product must be installed and repaired by the manufacturer’s authorized after-sales personnel only; if consumers entrust personnel not designated by the manufacturer, or if consumers perform reparation work on their own, there may be a risk of personal injury or property loss.
