Warnings & Safety Precautions
WARNING
Read all instructions carefully before using this product.
- This product is for domestic indoor use only. If this product is used for any commercial, industrial, rental or other purposes, product warranty will be VOIDED.
- This product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by an adult responsible for their safety.
- Mind your children and DO NOT let children play with this product.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Check the voltage indicated on the rating label before using this product.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
- Unplug this product from the power source before cleaning and maintenance.
- Contact German Pool authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this product.
- To reduce fire risk and damage, this plug should be fit into an individual outlet. DO NOT share socket with other appliances.
- DO NOT use if the power cord or plug id damaged, or if your socket does not match this plug.
- If supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid hazard.
- DO NOT retrofit or repair this product by yourself.
- DO NOT place this product in any place that is near gas, open flame or hot and humid environment in order to avoid damages or malfunction.
- This product must be kept out of reach of children.
- This product must be placed and used on a dry, stable, level and horizontal surface.
- DO NOT place metallic objects such as knife, fork, spoon, lid, can or aluminum foil on or under this product.
- Leave ample space between the cooking zone and its background surrounding (leave at least 10cm space between this product and the wall or other objects).
- DO NOT use this product on top of materials that are not heat-resistant (such as carpet, vinyl, etc.)
- Do not cover the air inlet or exhaust vent with anything during cooking, otherwise it will cause danger.
- Warning: The surface will remain hot for a period after using from the heating area. To avoid injuries (burning) do not touch the heating area.
- DO NOT use this product on a metallic surface.
- Warning: If this product’s surface is cracked, turn off product immediately to avoid the danger of electric shock.
- DO NOT let the children operation it alone to avoid danger and getting burned.
- DO NOT touch the plate while the product is working to avoid getting burned.
- DO NOT immerse this product and electric cord in water liquid or allow liquid to go into the cabinet and contact inner electrical parts. The power cord must be plugged out before cleaning.
- DO NOT cook with an empty pot, it will cause malfunction or danger.
- DO NOT place paper or cloth under the bottom of the pan to get heated to avoid the danger of fire.

Installing The Pan Lid Handle
- Thread the washer then the silicone seal ring onto the screw, and thread the screw through the hole on the pan lid from the inside.
- Align the pan lid handle with the screw, and screw on the handle tightly.

Selecting The Proper Cookware
- Cookware must have a flat bottom wider than 12cm diameter.
- The bottom of the cookware should not exceed 25cm diameter.
- Cooking content in the cookware should not exceed 6kg.
- Cookware must have electromagnetic properties.

Note: If unsuitable cookware (eg. non-electromagnetic cookware) is placed on this product’s heating zone, LED display will show “E0”; user must replace with a suitable cookware otherwise this product will not operate.
Turn On
- After connecting to the power source, the buzzer will beep once, Control Panel will light up for 1 second then turn dark, LED display will show “C”, and product enters sleep state.
- Press Turn Knob to switch on the product, LED display shows “ON”, and product enters standby state.
Note: In standby state, if the product does not receive any command in 30 seconds, it will automatically return to sleep state.
To Cook
- In standby state, tap Function Key one time to select power, tap Function Key two times to select temperature.
- Rotate Turn Knob to adjust power or temperature (see table below); rotate to the right (clockwise) to increase, rotate to the left (anti-clockwise) to decrease.

Grill Function
- When using Grill Function, it is recommended to use the Square Grill Pan that comes with this product.
- In standby state, tap Grill Key to select Grill Function, LED display shows “C5”.
- Rotate Turn Knob to adjust Grill Level (see table below); rotate to the right (clockwise) to increase, rotate to the left (anti-clockwise) to decrease.

WARNING
- The surface of the Square Grill Pan will be hot after use. DO NOT touch it in order to avoid getting burnt.
- Wait until the grill pan has cooled down completely before moving or cleaning it.
Note: After cooking is completed, turn off the product. Product will return to sleep state, the built-in fan will continue to run for 1 minute to dissipate residual heat; as long as the temperature of the heatingzone remains higher than 60°C, LED display will show “H” to remind user not to touch the product toprevent getting burnt.
Timer
- Anytime during cooking, tap Timer Key to set the time you wish the product to turn off; Timer indicator light will blink, and LED display shows the default timer duration of “0:10”.
- Rotate Turn Knob to adjust turn-off time. Rotate to the left (anti-clockwise) to increase timer by 10-minute increments, rotate to the right (clockwise) to decrease timer by 1-min increments. Timer is adjustable from 1-180 minutes.
- After adjusting the timer, tap Timer Key to confirm; alternatively, if no further command isreceived in 5 seconds, the product will auto-confirm and start timer countdown. After countdownis completed, the product will automatically return to sleep state.
Note
- When timer is activated, LED display will alternate between power/temperature and time every 5seconds.
- To alter timer duration, tap Timer Key then repeat steps 2 & 3 above.
- To cancel timer, tap and hold Timer Key for 3 seconds.
Child Lock
- Anytime during cooking, tap and hold Child Lock Key for 3 seconds to activate child lock. Allother keys will become inoperable.
- To deactivate child lock, tap and hold Child Lock Key for 3 seconds again.
Cleaning & Maintenance
WARNING
- Before cleaning, turn off the power, unplug from the power source, and wait until the product surface has completely cooled down.
- If this product shows malfunction or needs maintenance or repair, disconnect from the power source and contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre. Inspection and repair must be carried out by German Pool authorized technician only. DO NOT disassemble this product byyourself.
Note
- DO NOT use rough cloth, scouring pad or abrasive tool to avoid scratching the glass ceramic.
- DO NOT use organic solvents or cleaning products that contain chemicals such as benzene, gasoline, thinner, or corrosive detergent or solvent.
- DO NOT immerse or splash product directly with water.
- For general cleaning, wiping with a dry soft cloth is sufficient.
- Clean off any stain or food debris on the glass ceramic after each use. Wipe with a moist cloth, then wipe dry with dry soft cloth.
- For stubborn stains, clean with a moist sponge with diluted mild detergent, then wipe again with a moist soft cloth followed by a dry soft cloth.
Over time, the glass ceramic may become discoloured due to one of the following reasons, and is considered a natural phenomenon. Operation of the product will not be affected
- Prolonged overheating or burning empty cookware
- Spillage not cleaned off immediately
- Bottom of cookware is not clean.
