INSTALLATION SYSTEM
Surface Preparation
Concrete substrate or polymer modified screed should have a minimum of compressive strength 25.0 N/mm2 and adhesive pull-off strength of minimum 1.5.N/mm2. The substrates should be clean and free from laitance, oil, dust, loose constituents, paint residues, chemical, algae and other contamination should be removed. The substrates should be dry and free from ground water pressure. The substrates should be dry and free from ground water pressure. If the substrate moisture content exceeded 5%, apply an effective moisture vapor barrier. The substrate must be prepared by captive shot blasting, remove all surface laitance and loose particles etc. Cracks and hollows should be properly remedied. Prepare grooves 8mm wide X 8mm deep at all edges, bay joints columns, doorways and drains for anchoring purpose.
Mixing
Agitate Part A & Part B before pouring into the barrel; pour all the Part B and Part A into the clean mixing barrel and mix for 10 seconds by using a suitable electrical helical blades mixer (with 750watt power drill), then only add in the Part C to mix at least one minute until fully achieved a homogeneous mixture. Add Part D into the mixture, and mix for another 2 minutes until homogeneous the mix
Application
- Pour the mixture on the prepared surface and spread evenly using a clearance control notched pined rack to the thickness of 6mm or 9mm.
- Apply spike roller to release entrapped air subsequently after smoothed with a steel trowel.
- Apply Mortar UT HF Topping must be within the pot life (working time ± 15 minutes.)
