Introduction
Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing our product. To ensure proper usage of this product,
please carefully read this manual before using it.
If you have read the entire manual, we recommend to keep it in a safe place
for future reference. This will be beneficial for your continued use of the
product.
In the initial state, any fingerprint can unlock the lock. However, once a
fingerprint is registered, the lock will only respond to the registered
fingerprints and not be unlocked by for any other unregistered fingerprints.

Factory Default Setting
- Initial Admin Password: 000000
- Password Valid Only In 6 Digits
- Password Digit Range: 0-9
- Buzzer Setting: ON
- Alarm Setting: ON
- With Attack Protection Activated
Tips:
Attack Protection:
After fingerprint wrongly entered 5 times or password wrongly entered 3 times
(4 or more digits are incorrectly entered consecutively each time)
continuously, the system will be locked and with attack protection alarms. The
alarm can be canceled automatically after 180s; otherwise, it can login the
APP and send the unlocking command to cancel.
2. Two Operation Methods
2.1 Setting & Operation with the Keypad of Electronic Key

2.1.1 Unconfigured Mode to Unlock
No need to input any fingerprint/password, it can click the “Unlock Button” on the key to activate the key.
Then the blue light on the key will shin, during the shining, it can insert the key into lock to unlock directly.

2.1.2 Add Fingerprint & Password
Add Fingerprint
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “1”, the blue light will continue to flash.
- Input the “New User Fingerprint” 6 times during the flashing, then the buzzer will long beep for once, and the green light will shin for 1s, indicating that the user fingerprint is added successfully.
Add Password
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “1”, the blue light will continue to flash.
- Input the “New User Password #” twice during the flashing, then the buzzer will long beep for once, and the green light will shin for 1s, indicating that the user password is added successfully.
Tips:
(1) Password Valid Only In 6 Digits
(2) Password Capacity: 50
(3) Fingerprint Capacity: 50
(4) When the key is in unconfigured mode or being activated, after waking up
by pressing any button or fingerprint, the LED will show white light; When the
key is configured with fingerprint/password, after waking up by pressing any
button or fingerprint, the LED will show blue light

2.1.3 Change Fingerprint & Password
Change Fingerprint
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “2”, the blue light will continue to flash.
- Input the “Old User Fingerprint” once during the flashing, then the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue.
- Input the “New User Fingerprint” 6 times during the flashing, then the buzzer will long beep for once, and the green light will shin for 1s, indicating that the user fingerprint is changed successfully.
Change Password
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “2”, the blue light will continue to flash.
- Input the “Old Admin/User Password #” during the flashing, then the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue.
- Input the “New Admin/User Password #” twice during the blue light flashing, then the buzzer will long beep for once, and the green light will shin for 1s, indicating that the new admin/user password is changed successfully.

2.1.4 Delete Fingerprint & Password
Delete Fingerprint
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “3”, the blue light will continue to flash together with one beep buzzer. Then input “1”, the buzzer will beep once again together with the blue light flashing.
- Input the “User Fingerprint” during the flashing, then the buzzer will beep for once, and the green light will shin for 1s, indicating that this user fingerprint has been deleted well.
Delete Password
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “3”, the blue light will continue to flash together with one beep buzzer. Then input “1”, the buzzer will beep once again together with the blue light flashing.
- Input the “User Password #” during the flashing, then the buzzer will beep for once, and the green light will shin for 1s, indicating that this user password has been deleted well.
Delete All Fingerprints & Passwords
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue. Then input “3”, the blue light will continue to flash together with one beep buzzer. Then input “2”, the buzzer will beep once again together with the green light shins for 1s, indicating that all fingerprints & passwords have been deleted well.

2.1.5 Initialize the Electronic Key
- Input “0#”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the blue light will flash.
- During the flashing, input the “Admin Password #”, the buzzer will long beep for once, and the LED light will shin from green to blue.
- Input “4” during the flashing, the blue light will continue to flash together with one beep buzzer. Then input “4” again, and the LED light will shin as green for 4 times and turn to white light. The buzzer will long beep for once again, indicating that the key initialization is successful.
2.2 Setting & Operation with the Bluetooth APP

2.2.1 APP Download & Install

(Tips: It can also download “KERONG Lock” from APP Store / Google Play.) -
Download finished, then install the APP on your phone directly.

Open the Bluetooth on the phone and log in directly, no need email or phone number account.

2.2.3 Add the Electronic Key
- Click “+” to add electronic key
- Choose the one preparing to add (Please make the electronic key near the phone/APP within 5m, the signal will be better)
- Input the verification code to pair and confirm (The initial verification code is 5168)
- The electronic key has been added successfully

2.2.4 Add the Lock
- Choose the electronic key preparing to enter
- Add the lock (For the key without binding any lock)
- Enter the Lock Core Setting Menu
- Click “+” to add the lock
- Click “Add” and insert the electronic key into lock (Please insert the key into lock within 10s to communicate and pair)
- The lock has been added successfully

Key Function Setting Menu
(1) Key Rename Setting:
Rename electronic key according to personal preference
(2) Alarm Setting:
Attack protection alarm activates & deactivates setting (Activate as default)
(3) Time Check:
Make the electronic key clock same as phone/real time
(4) Key Initialization:
Key unlock setting and key function setting will be back to factory default;
the app will be disconnected, but the lock paired before still exists
(5) APP Version No.:
The key program version (software version) and the key PCB version (hardware
version)
(6) Pairing Code Change:
Same as verification code, used to pair the electronic key and APP. Once
received and bound the electronic key, please change this code first
(7) Buzzer Setting:
The electronic key operation sound activates & deactivates setting (Activate
as default)
(8) Key Log:
The electronic key operation records
(9) Key Location:
After clicking this function, the related key will beep to inform the user
where it is
(10) Exit Connection:
Exit the connection between the APP and the current electronic key
(11) Cancel Pairing:
Same as Key Initialization to reset the electronic key

2.2.6 Key Unlock Setting

(The initial admin password will not be deleted, but if the initial admin password has been changed, it will also be deleted)

Click “Delete all passwords and fingerprints” and confirm to delete all passwords and fingerprints
(The admin password will be back to the initial admin password, and cannot be deleted)

2.2.7 Lock Core Setting

(Tips: Before searching, please insert the electronic key into the lock wanted
to check to refresh first.)

The permission level of the electronic key for the lock (Admin/User) -
User Validity:
Whether the electronic key is valid or invalid to the lock currently -
Relation Type:
Using period of validity (Permanent/One-time/Period) -
CORE:
The bound lock code name and ID number -
Search:
Look for the one preparing to check (It can input the lock ID to search)
Lock Core Menu
(1) KEY: The bound key code name and ID number
(2) CORE: The current lock code name and ID number
(3) Authorization: The permission level of the bound electronic key (Admin/User)
(4) The Paired Key Quantity: The bound electronic key quantity to the current lock
(5) Paired Key Information: Check & Modify the bound electronic key information to the current lock
(6) Add New Key: Add the new electronic key to the current lock
(7) Lock Initialization: Reset the current lock and back to factory default status, all paired electronic keys and lock settings will be deleted and cleared (After clicking this function, please insert the electronic key into the lock within 10s to communicate)
(8) Lock Name Setting: Rename the lock according to personal preference
(9) Lock Log: The current lock operation records (After clicking this function, please insert the electronic key into the lock within 10s to refresh)
(10) Locking Mode: Select locking mode preference
( Manuel Locking -It needs to insert the electronic key into lock and send
the locking command to make the lock enter the locking status)
( Auto Locking -The lock will enter the locking status automatically after
unlocking for 3s)
(Each time before unlocking, it needs to choose which mode to lock; otherwise,
it will be default as auto locking after unlocking for 3s)
(11) Door Magnet: Check the lock status whether it is in “Close” status or in “Open” status
(12) Key Sign: Slide to left to lock, and slide to right to unlock (Green color means the current locking status)

- Input the fixed code, key ID, authorization type, and relation type of the key
- Confirm to add the new key
3. Tips & Notices
(1) After setting the fingerprints and passwords of the key well, each time it
can input the “correct fingerprint/password #” to activate the key, then it
also needs to press the “Unlock Button” before unlocking.
(2) It can deactivate the electronic key through long press the “#” button.

Note:
a. When entering fingerprints, please place your finger on the fingerprint
module according to the above correct method. It should be noted that if the
finger is too dry or too worn, it will affect the unlocking, and the
fingerprint entry will fail.
b. If the red light is on during pressing, please adjust the pressing position of your finger to continue entering.
c. If there is no action of pressing the fingerprint during registration, it will exit after a timeout of 30 seconds. After exiting, it needs to start again.
(4) Do not take apart the electronic key and the lock without permission.
(5) Keep the metal 3 PIN contacts of the lock and the electronic key dry and non-polluting.
(6) It can use the power bank with Type-C interface to have emergency power for the electronic key if needed.
(7) The user authorization electronic key only has the locking and unlocking function in the Lock Core Setting Menu.
