SAFETY & WARNINGS
- Do not wash the rubbish bin’s exterior with excess water in order to preserve the electronic components. Use a wipe or a damp cloth to clean the rubbish bin.
- Do not open o close the bin lid with excessive force.
- Immediately replace the batteries when they are depleted.
- Avoid exposing the sensor to sunlight.
- Do not dismantle or repair this rubbish bin. If this rubbish bin shows any signs of damage, cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
- Don’t not place anything on the rubbish bin lid.
OVERVIEW
OPERATION
- Open the battery compartment inside the lid and insert 4 AA size batteries according to the correct polarity. Then, close the battery compartment.
- Press the power button for 3-5 seconds. The indicator will turn green for approximately 3 seconds. When the indicator flashes green 3 times, the rubbish bin is operational and in automatic mode by default.
- To automatically open the bin, simply hover your hand or the object you want to throw away 15-25cm above the sensor. The lid will close after 5 seconds of inactivity. It will remain open if an object is detected.
- Manual mode is recommended to empty the bin or in case of repeated use. To activate manual mode, press the open/close button.
- To manually close the lid, press the open/close button. The bin will then be in automatic mode again.
Indicator light description
