SAFETY

GENERAL

  • Ensure the lamp is fully charged before initial use.
  • DO NOT turn the lamp on when it is being charged.
  • DO NOT shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes.
  • DO NOT allow children to use the lamp.
  • DO NOT handle or move the lamp whilst it is being charged.
  • DO NOT use the lamp if you suspect that the battery or the lamp casing is damaged.
  • DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state, recharge battery immediately. Before storage, fully recharge the battery, subsequently recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
  • WARNING! To reduce the risk of burns or fire:
  • DO NOT attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack.
  • DO NOT crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in fire or water.
  • DO NOT expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
  • Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product.
  • Recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulation.
  • If the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, thoroughly wash with soap and water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water and seek immediate medical attention.

INTRODUCTION

Super bright 5W COB LED spotlight provides up to 400lm in a focused beam and a 3W COB LED provides a wide spread of light.
On/off auto-sensor allows for easy hand free use without the need for pressing the on/off button. Head torch features 5 modes that
switches between: Front Light, Spotlight, Flashing, Red Light and Flashing Red Light. Inclination of the light source can be directed as required and the elastic headband can be adjusted to fit all sizes. Easy to read charge indicator displays battery level while charging.
Charges via a USB Type-C cable (Supplied).

OPERATION

Remove USB cover to reveal USB charging point. Insert cable (fig.1) red light will illuminate whilst charging.

Plug in the cable to an appropriate power source. Charging will take approximately 6hr.
When charged remove USB cable and replace the USB cover.
To switch on press on/mode change/off button (100%), press again to change mode (30%), Press again to change mode to white flashing light (100%) press again red static light one further press and the red light will flash and once more to switch off.
To activate by hand movement, press sensor switch next to On/Off button which will turn on the main 100% light which will then make the sensor operational. Then push the On/Off switch to make this sensor operate in 30% mode. (It only operates in these two modes).
Follow the cycle with the On/ Off switch in order to turn off.
Charging light will illuminate red when it requires charging and turns green when charging is complete.

MAINTENANCE

  • Keep the torch clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
  • Store torch and batteries in a dry childproof area.
  • Battery replacement can be carried out by an authorised Sealy stockiest.


ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.

WEEE REGULATIONS

Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.

Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s registered compliance scheme.
