Please refer to the latest version on the UCI website: 2024 UCI Junior Track World Championships | UCI Please note that the schedule has been designed to maximize spectator opportunities throughout the Championships and to ensure the best possible atmosphere for the finals each day. Each day is divided into separate ticketed sessions. Between sessions, the velodrome will be cleared of all spectators and personnel, and the seating will be closed. Doors will open approximately 30 minutes before each session.

Accreditation will be available upon your arrival as per official team lists only. All accreditations must be picked up and distributed before further access to the venue is allowed and all payments, including track bookings for unofficial training and sports analysts’ platform will need to be settled before accreditation is released. All team members will need accreditation to access the venue and track centre. Teams arriving before 10 August 2024, shall not be permitted to access the infield or storage area. Please wear your accreditation upon entering the venue. Please refrain from arguing with stewards and security personnel, who are tasked with maintaining order in the venue to ensure optimal conditions for staff to carry out their duties and to guarantee the safety of equipment and personnel. Any act of abuse towards stewards shall not be

tolerated. All incidents will be immediately reported to the UCI, and your accreditation may be revoked as a result. Please note that many of the event staff you encounter at the Luoyang Velodrome are volunteers. Treat them with courtesy, for without their assistance, the event cannot proceed smoothly. All accreditation cards grant you access to the spectator concourse but not to the spectator seats. A steward will ask people without tickets to make way for spectators. Designated seating areas are reserved for teams at the spectator concourses.

TRAINING SESSIONS
Track closed: before Saturday 10 August, the track will remain closed. Due to track maintenance, training, and access to the centre of the venue shall not be allowed before Saturday, 10 August.
Unofficial Training: Sunday, 11 August ­ Friday, 16 August There will be unofficial training available on the track for six days. These sessions will not be covered by a commissaire and paramedic. Only officials of Luoyang Velodrome will be in place.
2-hour slots available between 09:00-19:00 each day Cost is RMB 400 / 2-hour / per team for non-exclusively use.
All non-official training must be confirmed prior to Monday, 5 August 2024. Non-official training times must be booked in advance via email to the Competition Manager at luoyangtrack2024@163.com.
Official Training: Saturday, 17 August ­ Tuesday, 20 August The track will be available for official training from 17th August to 20th August. The UCI will allocate time for each team between 9:00 and 19:30 during these four days. The schedule is available on the UCI website: 2024 UCI Junior Track World Championships | UCI For inquiries regarding other competitions or training matters, please contact the Competition Manager.
Warm-up and In-competition training sessions: The schedule for training and warm-up session on competition days will be made available at the Team Managers meeting on Tuesday, 20th August and will be published on the UCI Website: 2024 UCI Junior Track World Championships | UCI Training behind Derny or motorbike will not be permitted in any session. The use of starting gate will also be prohibited.

TEAM MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE AREAS
Storage rooms are allocated to teams according to the numbers of riders. Each storage room is equipped with power and lighting. Unless otherwise instructed by the organizers, the teams shall be permitted to enter the storage room on Saturday, 10 August, 9:00am. The team storage area is covered by a security guard 24 hours a day until Tuesday, August 27, 12:00 noon. The key can be collected from the Velodrome main Office, where staff will show you to your allocated room. It is important that teams only use the rooms allocated to them. Due to space limitations, it will be necessary for some smaller teams to share rooms. The room must be cleared by Tuesday, 27 August, at 12:00 noon. Ensure that keys are returned after the event. A deposit of RMB100 is required for the key. Lost/unreturned keys will be charged at RMB100 per key.
TEAM PENS
Track centre pens will be available from Wednesday, 17 August at 09:00 am. Team pens are allocated in the track centre considering the size of each team. There are many people in track centre and space is limited therefore teams must keep the area allocated to them. Fire Regulations also insist that some corridors in the track are maintained for emergency evacuation purposes. Teams are reminded that the team storage are used for the storage of equipment not required for competition in that session. To ensure track centre can be cleared quickly and safely in an emergency, please ensure equipment does not excessively narrow or block walkways.

Access routes to the track must always remain unobstructed. All ramps should remain clear of any material and team personnel.
POWER
Sockets (applicable to UK, US, GER, EU plugs) with 2.5 kW of power, the rated voltage of 220 volts and rated electrical current of 10 amps, enough to charge a smartphone/laptop/small compressor. Please refrain from plugging in extension leads into this socket, nor should kettles, coffee machines, or fan heaters be plugged in, as these devices consume a high amount of power and may lead to a power outage. Ensure that you bring enough adapters for 10A sockets. Never plug a 2-pin plug into a 10A socket, for it is unsafe and would disrupt the power supply.
RIDER SAFETY
Do not ride your bike indoors at the Luoyang Velodrome Park. Whilst out on the roads, remember we drive on the right-hand side in China and after dark you will require a front and back light fitted to your bike. Red traffic signal lights mean “stop”. If there is a cycle lane on, or an adjacent cycleway beside the main roadway, you must ride on it and not on any other part of the roadway. Ensure you adhere to all road signs and do not ride on the footway this is illegal and may result in a fine.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSTS’ AREA
The performance analysts’ area is situated in the central rear position behind the east spectator seating. Available space is limited. Teams must book in advance by contacting the Competition Manager by email at luoyangtrack2024@163.com before

Monday, 12 August 2024. The cost of the service is RMB 600. We will provide Wi-Fi and power outlets. (Teams need to bring adapters by themselves.)
EQUIPMENT RENTAL

WATER
To protect our environment and minimize plastic wastage, LOC are reducing the amount of single use plastics at the event. LOC will prepare several refill water dispensers near the team pen at infield. Teams and staff are encouraged to fill their re-usable bottles at these areas.
ICE
Teams and riders can collect ice (free) in a room next to the entrance to the Luoyang Velodrome (see Floor Plan number 39).
MEDICAL
During official training and competition, two teams of doctors and paramedics will be stationed at the track centre. The emergency room is located on the ground floor. The medical team will also be available to treat riders, team officials and race personnel for a short period before and after racing. Spectator First Aid Service: The First Aid service for the East Stand is set up on both sides of the first row of the audience seats in the East Stand passage. The First Aid service for the West Stand is set up on both sides of the first row of the

audience seats in the West Stand passage. Outside official training and competition times, emergency medical care is available through the public healthcare service. In the event of an emergency, they can be contacted on 120 or 110. The event medical team will be available at the following times:

Two ambulances are on site to transfer very serious injuries to hospital. We ask that teams help ensure this resource is only utilized in serious circumstances. There are separate medical services for spectators.
LOST AND FOUND
Any lost property should be handed in to the nearest volunteers or to the Competition General Office, where they will keep a record of any property handed in.
SHUTTLE
Upon arrival, we will arrange vehicles to transport the cycling teams to the velodrome to store their bicycles before proceeding to the hotel for check-in. Please place your personal luggage in the shuttle bus and your bicycles and competition items in the shuttle truck. Official Training and Competition Days’ Shuttle Services During the competition, transportation arrangements between the Yishui Resort Hotel and the Velodrome are based on the starting time of the morning sessions. Departures should begin 2.5 hours prior to the start time, with 2 or 3 55-seat buses every 30 minutes. From the start of the competition until one hour before the end of the competition, one 55-seat bus are scheduled every hour.

SIDE EVENTS
Luoyang is a city steeped in history and culture. To promote the 2024 UCI Junior Track World Championships and cycling as well as help every team get a better understanding of this historic city, we designed a series of activities in Yishui Garden and Luoyi Ancient City separately and an exhibition outside the Luoyang velodrome. You can watch art performances, taste local delicacies and most importantly capture the charm of traditional Chinese culture. If you are interested, do not hesitate to fill in the registration form attached at the end of the technical guide.
1. ” Come and Ride in Luoyang” Fun Cycling Ride Time: 07:00-11:00am on Saturday, August 17, 2024 Location: Smart Greenway, Yishui Garden, Yibin District. Activity: Yishui Garden is a large-scale urban park built along the banks of Yihe River in Luoyang, which integrates ecological leisure, physical fitness, sightseeing and entertainment functions. It is a good place for Luoyang citizens to go out, relax and exercise. We hold unique and interesting cycling games on the Green path of Yishui Garden. There are two cycling events featuring 20 kilometres and 4 kilometres for you to choose. After completing the ride, you can get a commemorative medal. Extreme cycling performances, interactive games and lucky draws are also arranged at the event. Please note that the registration deadline is August 15 and the number of participants is limited to 30.
2. Stroll along Luoyi Ancient City Time: 19:30-20:50, Monday, August 19, 2024. Location: Luoyi Ancient City Scenic Area. Activity: “Luoyi” is the old name of Luoyang in ancient times. It has been the representative of Chinese civilization since ancient times. Luoyi Ancient City is located in the old town of Luoyang and you can see a scatter of historical sites such as Wenfeng Tower, Confucian Temple and Tuoling Palace, etc. Strolling down the streets, you can find the most captivating aspect of Luoyang and feast your eyes on the

ancient buildings characteristic of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and other dynasties. With the goal of inheriting intangible cultural heritage and carrying forward the national spirit, the ancient city has integrated culture, tourism, food, accommodation and shopping. Traditional music, handicrafts, folk arts and other intangible cultural heritage will transport you to a world of mystery and beauty. In addition, Luoyi Ancient City is one of the hottest places thanks to the popularity of Hanfu, a traditional type of Chinese clothing. And the exquisiteness of Hanfu will definitely win your heart. Come and immerse yourself in this divine place! Please note the registration deadline is August 15 and the number of participants is limited to 50.
3. “Bike Carnival” Fun Ride Exhibition Date: August 21-25, 2024. Location: Xinyue Road, Sports Centre. Activity: Outside the velodrome, there are a carnival of activities where you can buy souvenirs, participate in the bicycle fair and taste local specialties. Additionally, a music party and other performances are waiting for you to join.
N.B.Team members from across the world are welcome to participate in the activities mentioned above. We will provide dedicated transportation services.
