ENFORCER HL-951T1-SDQ RF Transmitters and Receivers

The ENFORCER HL-Series RF transmitters and receivers offer significantly increased range with greatly increased immunity to interference, whether physical obstacles, temperature extremes, or other environmental factors. DIP- switch coding allows you to easily program multiple transmitters with the same code and easily change the code later if needed. This can be very useful for job sites, gated communities, and any situation where multiple users need to control the same receiver.

DIP Switch Coding

The HL 951T1 SDQ can be programmed to one of 254 unique codes using an 8-pin DIP switch (see PCB diagram and detail in Fig. 1).

  1. Open the case and, using a small tool, set any combination of switches as desired, noting your choice (default, 1 – ON, 2~8 – OFF).
  2. Repeat with any other transmitters that require the same code.
  3. Program your receiver to learn your code.

NOTES

  • If the battery charge is low, the LED indicator will flash slowly when the button is pressed.
  • DIP switches cannot be set to all ON or all OFF.

Important Warning – Button/Coin Battery

WARNING!

  • INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery.
  • DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested.
  • A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
  • KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
  • Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep them away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate them.
  • Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
  • Call a local poison control center for treatment information.

  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 158° F (70° C), or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage, or explosion resulting in chemical burns.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and –).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands, or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
  • Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period according to local regulations.
  • Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.

Troubleshooting

  • Receiver is unable to learn the code.
    • Ensure that the DIP switches are not set to all ON or all OFF. At least one must be set to be different from the rest.
  • Range is diminished
    • Check the battery. Change to a fresh battery if needed.
