Congratulations on the purchase of an ansaTM quality product. Make sure you
read the following instructions carefully before using your new product. Your
warranty will not apply if you use the product incorrectly.
It’s essential to check that the safe working load on your ansaTM product is
applicable to your personal requirements.
Product warranty
We unicare about giving you peace of mind. That’s why we offer a 12-month product warranty on your new product, which covers faulty workmanship or defective materials. In the event of a defect covered by this warranty:
- Unicare Health will repair or replace the product (at our discretion)
- You must return the product to an authorised ansaÔ distributor or selling agent, along with proof of purchase
- You will be responsible for covering the cost of freight
Please note: Our warranty only applies if you have complied with all use and care instructions supplied, and you have not made any unauthorised repairs or alterations to the product.

Using your seat walker
Safety precautions
Before use, it is important that you read all instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with your new product. We unicare about your safety at all times.
- Ensure all components are properly and securely installed
- Ensure you have sufficient strength to safely operate and control the rollator and hand brakes
- Before using the rollator as a temporary seat, ensure the brakes are locked
- Do not release the brakes until you are standing
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended weight limit of 300lb (136kg)
- Avoid storing the rollator in direct sunlight, as parts exposed to the sunlight will heat up and may cause injury to the skin
- Do not place more than 10lb (4.5kg) of shopping or other items into the tote bag
- Do not move the rollator while seated as this is a walking aid only
- it is not to be used as a transportation device
How to unfold your walker
The rollator comes fully assembled. Place the rollator on its wheels on a flat surface, and unfold by pressing down on the tubes at each side of the seat until they lock into place.
How to fold your walker
- Pull up firmly on the strap located on top of the seat
- Secure the rollator by pushing the two sides of the frame together until an audible click is heard
- Pull the handles apart to unlock
Using the brakes
- To slow or stop the rollator while walking, squeeze both brake levers upwards to apply the brakes. Always apply brake pressure evenly.
- To lock the brakes while the rollator is stopped, push down on each brake lever until they lock into place. Release the brakes by pulling up on the brake levers.
Adjusting/removing the tote bag
Attach the tote bag by sliding the plastic clip on the bag into the plastic connector on the frame.
Adjusting the handle height
The ideal height is set when the top of the handle aligns with your wrist when you are standing upright.
To adjust the handle height:
- Press and hold the adjustment button
- Simultaneously move the handgrip up and down to the desired height
- Release the adjustment button
- The handgrip will automatically lock to the next possible height position
- Adjust both sides to the same height
Using the rollator as a seat
- Before using the rollator as a seat, make sure you position it on a level surface with the brakes in the locked position.
- Lock the brakes by pushing down on the brake levers until they lock into place. Do not lean back or to the sides when seated.
Adjusting the backrest
Both the backrest height and depth are adjustable.
Height adjustment
- Loosen the screw knob below the handgrip
- Slide the backrest up or down to the desired height
- Tighten the screw knob
Depth adjustment
- Press and hold the silver adjustment button on the backrest
- Slide the backrest in or out to the desired depth
- Release the adjustment button and ensure it clicks securely into place
Maintenance
Do not use high pressure cleaners, steam cleaners or harsh, caustic chemicals on this product.
Frame
- Wipe the rollator frame with a damp cloth
- For more stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent solution with warm water
- Dry thoroughly before use to avoid corrosion
- Clean the wheels using a damp brush with plastic bristles (do not use a wire brush as this may damage the rubber or painted finish)
Bag and seat
- Regularly clean with a mild detergent solution and warm water, or wipe with alcohol-based disinfectants if necessary
- Dry thoroughly before use
- Avoid contact with saltwater or pools with a high level of chlorination
