Use of Rugged IO Dock with Scanner Frame
To ensure you have a proper fit of the tablet with the scanner frame in the rugged IO dock, please put the two tablet support blocks onto the wings on the rugged IO dock. -
Removal of standard-tablet adapter
To modify the dock for usage with the rugged frame, please remove the adapter. Simply pull up the adapter by pulling on both sides to the top. The adapter is not included in the rugged IO dock. -
Table mounting of the dock
The dock has two mounting holes integrated that can be used to fix
the dock to a table/plate by the use of screws.
In case of the full dock or rugged IO dock, you need to loosen the screw that holds the connector box and carefully pull it backward slightly
to get access to the mounting holes.

Important Product and Safety information
- Do not drop, bend or twist your dock. This can break dock internal circuit boards or mechanics.
- Do not try to disassembly your dock. This may damage the device.
- The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
- Operate your device in a place where temperature is between -10°C and +40°C.
- Store your device in a place where temperature is between -20°C and +60°C.
- Protect your device from water and moisture intake.
- Use only soft, clean and dry lint-free cloth to clean your device.
- Keep the unit and accessories away from small children.
- Switch off your device in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
- Use only power supply delivered with your dock.
- Do not disconnect the charger by pulling the cord.
- Do not use damaged power cords or plugs.
- Save energy. You can save energy by doing the following.
- Close unused applications and data connections.
- Decrease screen brightness and sound volume.
- Deactivate unnecessary sounds like touch panel sound.
- Disconnect your charger from the main outlet when the charger is not needed.
- Do not keep unnecessary accessories connected to your device.
- Recycle. Return your used electronic units to dedicated collection points.
