CONTROLS
LISTENING MODES
-
Active Noise Cancelling
A quad-mic monitoring array “listens” to sounds both outside and inside each ear cup. The ANC chipset then generates inverted anti-noise soundwaves that neutralize the background sounds. The adaptive technology adjusts the level of noise cancelling to match the ambient loudness of your environment. -
Ambient Transparency
In Ambient Transparency mode, the ANC system picks up environmental sounds, amplifies them, and plays them over your audio. It’s perfect for staying aware of your surroundings and effortlessly engaging in conversation without having to remove your headphones or pause your music.
TIP: You can also use ANC mode without playing any audio if you just want some peace and quiet. In order to save your battery life, remember to turn off your headphones when you’re done using them. -
ANC Off
Also known as Passive Noise Cancellation mode, ANC Off extends the headphones’ battery life while also letting the comfort features do the heavy lifting. The over-the-ear fit and low-pressure ear cushions create a noise-isolating circumaural seal that substantially prevents outside noise from entering in. -
Aux In
No Bluetooth? No battery? No problem! Plugging into the 3.5mm auxiliary port activates Aux In mode, which allows for uncompressed analog audio playback without needing battery.
NOTE: When plugged in, Bluetooth wireless streaming functions, ANC functions, and on-ear buttons are automatically disabled. Use the media controls on your audio source device instead.
