  Have not used them outside but inside they worked fairly well. Could still hear a little noise. The picture is not the ones they used to have. Ordered these not that long ago and decreased quality from the one pictured.

  A little hollow sounding and catches wind very well. Does the job.

  Probably, it all depends on the case. I know there are still some life proof cases that are really bulky and still require the adapter, however, if no adapter came with the case then yes. It will fit.

• How is the bass on the earbuds? Does it sound static or disoriented when you turn up a bass song?
  I like the bass. Sounds pretty deep to me Matter of point of view though
  

• Is the wire able to withstand chewing pretty well? Does my cat love to chew earbuds?
  Honestly, the wires are thicker and flat so they are more durable and don’t tangle. However, I don’t think they would withstand kitty teeth. One side went out on mine for an unknown reason. Buy the protection plan if you buy these. Sound great!

• Will it work for an older version of a walk-man Cd player?
  Absolutely. The NX80 has a Gold Plated 3.5mm auxiliary plug. So as long as your walkman fits a standard size 3.5mm 1/8″ jack you can use these earphones. Enjoy
